Very powerful pump.easy to assemble..
took me less the 5 minute to assemble.powerful pump sucks the dirt completely.using hose pipe will be more efficient clean.using the filters to clean the water and bring it back in to the aquarium without bucet will make the water blory.depens how dirty is the bottum.overall very nice pump.

Lasted less than a month, threads on the connections cracked, attachment are poor and not great for cleaning sand

Does the job
Great little cleaner. I use it to clean the gravel in my fishtank it does the job well. Much easier than taking the gravel out.

I bought this to replace my battery one. And to be honest I prefer the battery one. The pump is very big and the most annoying thing if the switch to turn it on is next to the plug socket if should be on the handle the instructions say don't turn on and run while dry. Unless your arms are 10ft long this is impossible

Handy aquarium tool
Easy to set up and use. I've used it with the optional filter attachment to vacuum the gravel and also the plastic hose attachment to empty and refill the aquarium. A lot easier than the manual gravel pumps.

Nice bit of kit...
This is a very nice piece of kit..very quick delivery used it already..a very needed gravel clean and wow so much more better then I was expecting so its a big thumbs up and a big thank you to the seller....A+

Filters well once the pump is primed, but a pain to get started in a shallow tank.
The media could not be loaded. I found the filter to work well once I managed to get the pump primed, but I had a real job getting it started. I essentially had to lay the whole thing down horizontally in the water to get all the air out of it before the pump would pull. So not very convenient to use in small or shallow tank you may not have the room. If you plan to install it permanently, or in a deeper tank than mine (100mm), it might not be such an issue. In my case, it was more difficult because the water in my toad tank is relatively shallow. In a deeper tank, it may work more effectively, with less chance of losing suction when accidentally coming up above the level of the water.
