A fun novelty
Eh, I suppose John Wayne was my dad’s time; he loved his movies. As a kid, I remember often asking my dad to watch anything but war, western, or Wayne movies. So there is a little nostalgia….but I really just ordered this because I like guns…they’re fun to shoot. So, who doesn’t want a CO2 gun for a little plinking? I have, let’s just say…multiple, “real” guns….but a little plinking with CO2 gun and some BB’s is also fun.I suppose I could kill a varmint at close range with this, but for me this is really just for carnival-like plinking. I don’t expect a carnival gun, or a (short-barreled) “John Wayne” revolver-style BB gun to be accurate beyond a few yards…it’s just for fun.To that, this gun:• Is lightweight, I wouldn’t call it very hefty or robust.• Is single action, gotta cock the hammer then pull the trigger on each shot.• Has a safety.• The removable grip plate also operates at as the screw adjuster for the CO2 cartridge…nice touch (i.e. no need to carry an extra tool).Bottom Line:I consider this as a fun plinking gun…and also perhaps as a close-range varmint gun, and even perhaps an introductory gun to teach adolescents on gun safety and handling (I might be stretching a little on the last…but to that, while not so deadly, this still fires a metal projectile as rapid velocity...so it’s still harmful and gun safety rules apply!)…and with a touch of old west nostalgia.

Do not recommend
Does Not hold air. Started leaking as soon as C02 was inserted.

Goes pew, but feels cheap
At this price, I expected a little more from this shooter. It is single action so you have to pull the hammer back for every shot. It goes pew every time I want it to, but I feel like this thing is really fragile. The plastic feels very thin and I have little confidence it will hold up to any rough use. The packaging was very appealing, but I wish the actual product followed suit.

It’s a very nice little c02 pistol
Perfect for beginners or anyone looking to practice safely handling handguns. Single action which means you pull back the hammer to “cock” the gun before squeezing the trigger. Each shot. It’s very nice quality, in fact, it’s cartridge containment is way more secure than the crossman brand one I had years ago. I actually own the real version of the pistol this one is modeled after and it is identical. Bullseye-accurate at 10 yards. Looks very real and should be treated as such, but have fun because this air gun is definitely that!

Classic Shooter Style
The Western Justice John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver captures the classic cowboy vibe with its design and operation. It is a fun option for target shooting, offering a realistic weight and feel. The accuracy is decent for a CO2 revolver, and it is easy to load and shoot. While it serves more as a novelty or collector’s item rather than a serious training tool, it is definitely enjoyable for recreational use.

The overall quality feels lacking, leaving it more of a novelty than a reliable plinking option.
Review of the Western Justice John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver**I recently received the Western Justice John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver as part of the Vine program, and I'm afraid my initial excitement has somewhat waned. While this revolver does have a solid weight that gives it a somewhat authentic feel, the overall quality feels lacking, leaving it more of a novelty than a reliable plinking option.First and foremost, the grip of this BB gun is a significant point of concern. Made from relatively thin plastic, it feels less robust than what I would expect from a firearm—even one intended for recreational use. This detracts from the overall shooting experience and makes it hard to maintain a comfortable hold during extended use. Then there's the accuracy issue. Utilizing a Laser Bore Sighting Kit, I found that the sight does not align properly, which is quite disappointing. While it can shoot paper targets decently, it simply won't suffice for my intended use of plinking at the pesky squirrels that seem to invade my yard. The claimed velocity of 330 feet per second may sound impressive on paper, but in practice, it lacks the punch necessary to effectively knock down any targets. It's important to stress that while this is a BB gun, it shouldn't be treated lightly. I certainly wouldn’t recommend aiming it at anything other than your intended target, as it could leave more than just a mark. Firearm safety should always take precedence, and any gun—regardless of its type—must be treated with respect. In terms of noise level, the manufacturer claims it falls within a low-medium category. However, in practice, I found it to be surprisingly louder than that, which might not be ideal if you’re looking for a discreet plinking option. On a brighter note, loading the revolver is straightforward, and the 18-shot capacity is a definite plus for those looking to keep the fun going without constant reloads. Unfortunately, this feature alone doesn’t redeem the overall impression. In conclusion, the Western Justice John Wayne Marshal CO2 BB Revolver presents as a fair quality option, but it ultimately falls short in terms of durability and accuracy for serious plinking. It has its charms, but if you’re seeking something reliable and powerful for your backyard adventures, you might want to continue your search elsewhere.

Only single action
Unless I'm doing something wrong, this is a single action revolver. Given the loading mechanism, I expected double action/semiauto. Overall, good looking and fun to shoot
