Sarah's Candy Factory Freeze-Dried Peach Rings Candy - Crunchy & Sweet, Large, Freshness, Halal, Gift & Snack 7 Oz in Jar

I recently received gummy peach rings that were a small part of a freeze-dried candy sampler pack from another vendor. I wanted to get more, and started looking around Amazon for a better price. One thing I found was a lot of negative reviews on gummy peach rings, complaining about the texture (some even stating they were too crunchy, as if the reviewers had no idea what freeze-drying actually does), and most complaining about the taste, or that the candy wasn't freeze-dried enough/correctly. Sarah's Candy Factory seems to have the best price at the moment, so I decided to risk the purchase. I ordered them yesterday, and they arrived today. They are great! the attached photos show how they look, and I bit one in half (quite easily) to show a cross section. the whole ring is crunchy, not gummy on the yellow part as some reviews stated (at least in the ones I received). For people complaining about the broken bits/powder at the bottom of the containers, that is to be expected in freeze-dried candy items, and the amount of dust at the bottom of this container is way less than I would have expected. these are crunchy, airy, and most of all tasty. They are slightly sweeter than I might like, but that just means I'll eat a little less in one sitting (two or three is more than enough for me) and be satisfied, which means they may last me longer. I can't wait until freeze-dryers become more affordable for home use, and I can freeze dry all the types of candy I'd like to try. Until then, these gummy peach rings from Sarah's Candy Factory will do just fine.

arrived in a beat up plastic container with a broken security seal and peach ring dust everywhere. TBH, I was scared to try them, but I waited a week for their arrival so I talked myself into it.🤢They were not the light, fluffy airy, freeze-dried consistency we all know and love. These were tough - like they’d been sitting on the shelves for a year, or out in the sun for a month. Incredibly difficult to bite in to (old people and those with a sensitive mouth: proceed w/ caution), and painfully crunchy (like the hardest most stale piece of candy i’ve ever had).*sorry, I know that was a rough review but hopefully it’s for the best and will result in some serious QC for this item.

This tasted like peaches. I definitely will buy more.

i love freeze dried candy. but this was awful. VERYYYY sticky.

I disliked the size of them. I prefer the gunny peach rings

I have had the gummy version but not a fan. I love peach flavor and enjoy the crunch.
