Petroleum jelly is petroleum jelly! I never have had luck with regular expensive moisturizer. Even though I’ve been told many times not to use this stuff on my face as much as I have I prefer it over anything else since I was a teenager! And I think it’s helped my skin and lips stay well moisturized and protected for after shower use! Going on over 20 some years using it as my primary I’m pretty happy at 35! And it’s cheap!

This product is more than comparable to other name brand products of the same type. It works very well on my exceptionally dry skin. I use it daily. It goes on smoothly and is not overly greasy. It is a great moisturizer and it does not have an unpleasant odor.

I get dry skin because my hands are constantly in water. The thickness of it is good. It lasts like a named brand does. there is no scent. It does help to soften the dry skin. But the dry skin on my feet heels, it doesn't work so well.

I have atopic skin, so I’m very careful with what I use — and I’m happy to say this didn’t cause any irritation or allergic reactions at all. It’s super gentle and has been great for my skin care routine.It leaves my skin feeling soft, hydrated, and smooth, especially on dry areas like lips, elbows, and hands. The moisture level is excellent, and the thickness is just right — rich enough to protect without being overly greasy.The quality is really solid, especially for the price. My only two complaints:1. It’s really small — much smaller than I expected, so it runs out fast.2. The smell is kind of weird. Not strong, but definitely noticeable and not the clean scent you’d usually expect from petroleum jelly.Still, considering the price and the fact that it’s safe for sensitive, atopic skin, I’d say it’s worth it — just maybe better for occasional use or travel size
