Easy to set up, schedule works well and works seamlessly with my Google Nest.
Great product, I've definitely noticed less build up of dust in my bedroom since using it. Initial set up is super easy. The app allows you to set a schedule 3 times a day to switch itself on and off. There's 3 settings, night, normal and turbo, all work well. The night setting is virtually silent and doesnt wake me up when it turns on at 6am (my setting). Also works seamlessly with my Google nest. Looks aesthetically very nice in my room. Doesn't emit any smell. I'd say definitely work the price of £90, however doesn't tell you about the air quality in the room, which would be helpful. If that is essential to you, get the upgraded model (I would have but didn't want to pay the extra money, however, now I see how it could've been helpful so would recommend it)

Works well with Alexa
Early review, as i've only just set this "Philips Air Purifier 600 Series" up today. On first impressions I'm impressed with it.Noise:Three levels.Sleep mode is the quietest. You can barely hear it (just a very low hum).Medium mode is not too loud. probably just switch it on and leave the room and close the door.Turbo mode. This is loud. you won't want to be in the room with this on. It's an ideal setting to get the air quality good quickly. Maybe use this mode when you leave the house.Connectivity:Best to download the app straight away. All the settings are there and it's easy to use.One note, it took me two attempts to connect the app to the device. First time it failed and I had to repeat the set up process. (works fine now). The best feature in my opinion is that you can connect your newly set up Philips (app) account to your Alexa account. As long as you keep your Air purifier unit plugged in, you can control it through your Alexa.I was very impressed by this feature.Design wise, it looks good. modern looking.I will say a few people have noted how big it is.It stands about 34cm tall in height. The width is around 21cm's, so it's not exactly small. It does have a large filter inside and needs to have a large casing. There are smaller models out there if you need a small more discreet unit.Only other negative is that the power button is on the back of the unit. Not a problem if you use the app or Alexa really.Over all its a great product for the price.I'd recommend it.Edit: Five moths later, it's still working a treat. I keep it in bedroom and switch it on (via Alexa) when I wake up. I keep it on turbo mode (highest setting) and just close the bedroom door whilst it running.Very handy during the winter months when you don't want to keep the window open as its cold/raining.

It looks good but doesn't have carbon filter
Good and silent if you run it on lowest speed. Only negative aspect of is that it doesn't have carbon filter. That is why it is not effective against smoke and bad smells. I don't know why Philips didn't put carbon filter in it.

Efficient and effective
I have been monitoring this air purifier for a week and have the following comments. The set up out of the box is straightforward and easy. Connection to WiFi is also easy and the app features are useful and work reliably including the scheduler. I have the purifier in my kitchen diner, which is also home to my parrot. I use the purifier in Auto mode and I note that the fan boosts up to turbo speed when the parrot so much as twitches a wing. I do know that the parrot generates a lot of dust but there must also be copious amounts of microscopic particles and the app confirms this, then the fan boosts to control it. I have also used a fabric glue spray in the same room and the boost fan kicks in within a few seconds. I have also put the purifier in my living room where the air quality is much better (no parrot) and it really does not have to work as much. The air quality sensor appears to be very sensitive and therefore the purifier is very fast to react. So far, so impressive.

Quite big and noisy on high, but capable and works well
We had a wood burner fitted a year ago and I've been a little concerned about the air quality in our lounge as it's been running for many hours a day for the last four months. I decided to buy an air purifier and having researched lots of models opted for this Philips version, one reason being it's low power consumption (12Watt).I was surprised at how big it is, I think I had expected something the size of a small fan but I'd say it is close to the size of a 15l bucket. Whilst it's not particularly heavy, it has no carry handle so would not be ideal for carting around from room to room. In our case I found a place behind one of the chairs, so it's tucked out of the way unobtrusively. The main on/off button is positioned rather awkwardly at the bottom of the rear of the fan, but fortunately once turned on it can be controlled via the app, which is a simple download and provides both an on/off function and speed change options. Three speeds are available, which are called "Sleep", "Medium" and "Turbo" but are more like "Quiet", "Moderate" and "Really Quite Loud". On the turbo setting it's noisy, like a desk fan on level five, but clears a lot of air, fully filtering the air in our medium sized lounge in around 15 minutes. In reality, I leave it running all day on "Sleep" mode, increasing to "Medium" if, on loading the wood burner, a bit of smoke escapes. And once in a while using "Turbo" if we've let in a lot of smoke or ash.The app also shows the state of the two filters, one washable, the other which has to be replaced. The latter should last a year and it costs around £30 for a new one.Overall I'm quite impressed by this, at £70 I think it was great value. And I was able to register online via the Philips web site to extend the warranty to three years.

It circulates the room air.
Fairly quiet, not easy to reposition although light it requires both hands to lift. Cannot connect with 5G so remote is u/s.
