Brilliant little game
These are fantastic, and managed to entertain my 7 year olds (and to some extent my 5 year old) on 2 long-haul flights and during several long boring car journeys! They're low-tech enough that they're not addictive, and I can get the kids to put them down when I need to, but they're fun enough that they frequently pick them back up in bored moments and play for a while. The tiny size also makes them easy to take anywhere.None of the games have instructions, so they're confusing at first, but that doesn't seem to have bothered my kids. You also do have to scroll all the way through the list every time to find whatever game you want, but again my kids don't seem to care. The case quality is absolutely fine and I have had no issues with loose buttons or power failures. The battery life is reasonable. I'm impressed by the full-colour screen! My only complaint is that there is no way to turn the sound off and have it stay off -- it always comes on when you turn on the machine, and comes on again when you exit a game and go back to the home screen. They are, however, quiet enough that it's not unbearably annoying to hear them from the back seat of the car.I would unreservedly recommend these to another parent, like me, who is a bit worried both about excessive screen time and about cost. The retro aspect does a great job of limiting screen time on its own, and the price speaks for itself!

Excellent retro gaming
Bought this as a stocking filler - teenage son delighted with it, loads of great games, great quality screen and controls, good value for money.I’m sure this will come on many road/air trips, size is perfect for popping into hand luggage or a pocket for travel without compromising on space for essentials.

Tiny tiny tiny. very unusual
This game console is one of the smallest,in fact, i will put my head on the line and say this is the smallest mini game console you can buy.smaller are the micro-consoles such as the incredible pocketsprite but these are generally much more expensive and so tiny you have to be an ant to play the games(i have one,it's fantastic)However, on the mini consoles, these have small screens at least 1,8 inch like this thumbs up.the screen though the smallest is very very good.bright, clear, sharp, colourful and high quality. This makes seeing the games easy.the sound is a 3 step job and low in volume and quality. The sound really inferior compared with the excellent screen. It has an awkward lump at the back to house the batteries.all the games are origional,no nes or known games however they fit the screen superbly, origional and great fun but very very simple.Good for someone who has never played a game before.simple, childlike but fun.Overall a mixed bag.Great screen, tiniest console, unique games but the sound lets it down.Maybe for a 3 year old or a begginer.

Buy it's fun
Great little device, and fun games that remind me of a long forgotten era. It's ideal to stick in one's pocket and it takes the boring out of meetings and because it so small it doesn't get seen

A brilliant present but have AAA batteries and a screwdriver handy
I bought this for my 10 year old nephew and he was absolutely delighted. He played it all day long, the games are simple and generally easier to work out. His 19 year old cousin was more than happy to help him, and I got the feeling he would have been just as delighted with it! It was much better than I thought it would be for the money and brought back happy memories of playing these games when I was young. Have a tiny crosshead screwdriver and three AAA batteries ready. Top present and great value for money.

Nice bright screen!
Interesting little thing, full of mystery games with no instructions, stuff titled like “Eating balls” and “Receive gift”. Does not contain any games that I remember from the 1980s.On the up side, it has a nice bright screen but the controls are a bit clumsy for big fingers. Would be good as one of those gifts to kids that drive adults mad with repetitive sounds and music.

Very loud, monotone music and poor screen quality.
Ordered it for my son, he played a a couple of times and dropped it aside.Build quality feels cheap, hard plastic. Display is bad. Pretty much all the "games" have the same music, loud and nauseating. Out of 150, maybe 2-3 worth actually playing. The rest seem to be badly designed, hard controls or hit a difficulty wall where a solution is not possible.I would recommend to go for a reputable handheld elsewhere and save the money for this as a discount on the other devices.
