If you like taffy, you will no doubt like this master's grain syrup ginger taffy. This is a Korean candy. It is made exclusively from master's grain syrup and ginger. The grain syrup is a combination of rice, malt, enzyme, and ginger grain syrup). This product is gluten-free, non-GMO, free of sucrose, and free of artificial sweeteners.This product comes individually wrapped. Six pieces only contain 110 calories and 28 grams of sugar. The candy starts out being quite hard to bite into. It softens somewhat quickly if you leave it in your mouth for a minute or so. Then it becomes very chewy and quite gooey. It is the type of product that will really stick to your teeth. This product is sweet and has a very very mild ginger flavor to it. It is just the right amount of ginger flavor in my opinion.I found this taffy to be a little more difficult to chew than some of the taffy I have eaten here in the U.S, but it was very good. I would recommend this to others who enjoy taffy or eating very chewy candy. I would not recommend this to people who have dental issues or jaw joint pain. Young children would also have a difficult time chewing this product. For all others, great flavor! 5 stars.

Just tastes like light sugar taffy.No ginger flavor that I could discern.

This South Korean taffy contains only two ingredients -- grain syrup and taffy. That's it. Short and sweet and somewhat healthy for you. It is a hard taffy so be careful when trying to chew it. I let it dissolve a bit like a hard candy before doing any chewing. I live in Florida so my product arrived a bit melted. You can harden them up by putting them in the fridge and they aren't too hard to pry from the wrappers.I personally prefer a bit more of a ginger bite, but I have to say that these are pretty tasty. If you've ever had Mary Jane candies, the texture is a bit like that. They are also not too sweet with six candies having only about 12 grams of sugar. I'd get them again.~ Kort

I love these! I get frequent headaches and crystalized ginger helps ease them, but can be quite harsh to eat. This ginger taffy has just enough ginger in a sweet treat to ease the headache in a much more enjoyably mild flavor.It is hard and kindof brittle in my cold house, but after sucking on them for just a bit, they soften into a great taffy almost nougat taste, with a ginger flavor that isn't overpowering.As a sweet treat, these are great. Both hubby and I love the taste. Helping my headaches is a bonus.

Removing the wrapper from the taffy was a pain in the butt.The taffy is very hard at first but once it warms up in your mouth it soften up and become sticky. No matter how hard you tried to keep the taffy in one place of the mouth, once you chew, it ends up sticking everywhere.However it melts fairly clean, leaving almost no traces in your mouth.It is slightly sweet which is what I like and taste a hint of grain.I thought the ginger intensity would be just like ginger chews but I don’t taste much of the ginger in this taffy.Overall I would not be getting these again and will stick to ginger chew.

This is very much like a traditional American sugar taffy in texture, but with definite ginger flavor. That flavor isn’t as strong as that of other Asian ginger candies and chews I’ve tried, but it’s definitely there. It’s a good idea to keep these in the fridge in very hot weather, as they tends to become soft and sticky, but now that winter is approaching I’m keeping them in a bowl in my living room.

It seemed really hard and stiff. I did enjoy the flavor though!
