Most thorough book of Brutalist architecture ever published
When this book came out it was slightly bigger and £100. This smaller edition is roughly A4 and therefore a more practical size. It uses the format of an atlas to show every 'brutalist' building of note by continent/subcontinent/ country, as well as providing key information about it's current state and use. The copy is for each building is holistic and informative. Photography is all in black and white, which personally I like- but others might not. Loved this book, absolute must have for anyone interested in Brutalism.

Quantity over depth
Buy this one, don't get me wrong. Book is on the heavy side, good paper and layout. A nice collection that I love browsing. Would only get better if they released several volumes as I have to find each place on Google to see more of it. There is only one picture per building.

A really comprehensive publication
A real tome of Brutalist examples which also highlights the many geographical differences in architectural approaches.

Amazing
I couldn’t imagine how big and heavy is this. I absolutely love it, I highly recommend it if you’re into interesting architecture. It’s a great quality book.

Delightful, but...
I am no real expert, but I'm surprised that they selected very few buildings from Eastern Europe and Russia, which I thought were the quintessential Brutalist countries, whereas Western Europe and North America have a much larger selection.Aside from this little disappointment, I found it wonderful and rich in details.

A breeze block of a book.
Heavy. Important feeling. The book designers...(there must be book designers) have done a brilliant job of making the feel of a book correspond to its subject. The cover is a work of art in itself. It makes me smile every time I pick it up... I love it.

B&W treasure trove of brutalism
This is a great book for lovers of concrete architecture. A massive selection of buildings crossing a diverse range of functions is represented, usually with one image and a brief summary. The selection spans the mid c20th to the recent past. The Utopianism of much of the architecture, as well as its drawbacks are clear to see, but it is the diversity of the forms and possible structural solutions to construction that really fascinated me. Recommended.
