I needed to clean a toilet which had not been worked on for along time and it seems to have done a reallly good job. After one or two attempts I found the right method. Bought at a good price as well.

I got this to try and tackle the stains in the loo which I've been trying to get rid of since we moved into our house.We have a septic tank so I was careful what I bought for the job. This is suitable for septic tanks according to the packet.I used one sachet and used hot water in the toilet bowl first, and although it's removed some of the dirt it's not cleaned up as well as I'd hoped. I did a subsequent sachet after this and left it overnight, this was better again but the dark sides at the bottom of the loo are still there.In the end I got a glove on and scrubbed the loo which helped a bit more (and i loathed doing), but it's still not resolved. The results are what are shown in the third photo.I'll be trying harpic tablets next as I'm told they work better!The good thing about the foam sachets is that they are easy to use, they did help clean a bit above the water line - although I still had to scrub there - and it's cool seeing it expand in the toilet (yes I'm aware that sounds sad.... I'll get my coat).However when it boils down to it this item didn't work to the extent I hoped and I still have the problem. So, I wouldn't buy it again.

I bought these the first time on a Prime Deal and have bought them ever since. Every month I use one of these to really deep clean the toilets in our home. They foam up really well and really clean further than the brush can go in the toilets. It removes sediment that builds up in the pipes. Highly recommend these and they are great value for money

The media could not be loaded. I never thought I’d describe cleaning the toilet as fun, but here we are! I decided to test the power of these foaming sachets by letting my toilet get a bit grimy (all in the name of science, of course). The result? One sachet really does a great job lifting dirt and limescale, especially after you warm up the bowl by pouring a jug of hot water in first (as the instructions suggest). Once the sachet is poured in, it starts bubbling and foaming like magic, honestly, watching it do its thing is strangely satisfying. Although i think my loo might actually need another go to get it perfect, my fault, not the product!The activated carbon works hard to bind to the grime, while the lemon scent keeps everything smelling fresh and clean without being overpowering or smelling too chemical. For a seriously neglected toilet, you may need two sachets to get it fully pristine, but for regular cleaning, one sachet will absolutely do the trick. A quick scrub with a brush afterward, and it’s ready to flush away all that foam and dirt!The best part? I think using it regularly, like once a week, will keep everything at bay, no more nasty surprises when you lift the lid. I will make this part of my routine, and i think it might just become my go-to for keeping the toilet sparkling without too much effort. It’s great for handling limescale buildup too, especially if you live in a hard water area.
