He can also have a bit of a yeasty pong after a while but his weekly shower with this keeps most things at bay and he is much happier. I’ve tried the foam equivalent but that goes sticky and isn’t quite as brushable as it says on the pack! So I still to this shampoo.It smells pleasant, its foams fairly easily and because my dog is small, it actually lasts quite a while - even though I use a pump for each leg, 3-4 for his body then 1 for his underneath and another for this front. I have read reviews of people diluting for bigger dogs but I don’t know of the impact on the chlorohexedine so I don’t do this.I would high recommend this shampoo if your dog has skin complaints or yeast/skin crusting issues. But needs to be used regularly. But so far, it doesn’t seem to cause my dog any issues and he’s nice and clean afterwards. I leave it on for about 5 min, then rins, use once a week as antibacterial and antifungal to stop her paws and beard get brown stain. I have been using this product for 3 yranow. I guess you can apply on whole body, if needed, but best consult with a vet first. I wash my dogs with it every 2 weeks as they had allergies before we worked out what thd allergy was. But we continue to use it. It disinfects and hydrates the skin in dogs and cats.
