Legacy Decor Metal and Wood Hall Tree Coat Hat Rack Black with Walnut Color Accents

When shopping for a new towel rack for our bathroom, my wife ran across this coat rack and decided to try it as a towel rack. Our shower curtain has trees printed on it and this coat rack looks remarkably similar to the trees on the curtain, so the combination in our bathroom is pretty cool looking and a nice change from the traditional horizontal bathroom towel racks. This rack is very easy to assemble, is sturdy, nicely designed, and looks great. Highly recommended (as a towel rack, at least).

I'm pretty picky about, well everything and have high standards. I didn't expect much yet was pleasantly surprised to have the item arrive quickly, well packaged and even easy to assemble. I put it together with the picture instructions that were pretty decent in about 10 minutes and liked how heavy and study it is for such a skinny tree. I bought it because it takes up less space than other trees and wasn't too expensive. I wanted somewhere to hang "odds and ends" (sweatshirts, scarves, outfit for the next day, PJs) in my walk -in closet since I have no wall space for hooks. I was piling things on a chair. If I had a treadmill they would have gone there. You get the picture. No fun. Overall it works great, it's good quality, and most of all, it does the job well. Feels good to be more organized and not have to sift through annoying piles to find my comfy sweats. I'm enjoying all the different ways I can use it since it has multiple hooks that don't overlap each other and hide the things underneath.

We like the look of this hall tree, as it's not run-of-the-mill. The wood accents are classy, the construction and finish are very good, and the footprint is small enough to place it by our front door. The rack was easy to put together.

I used this hall tree to hold the burlap bags I made for Christmas "stockings" . It worked very well for my purpose, and carried the weight of nine full burlap bags without any problem at all. It was easy to assemble, looks nice, and takes up very little floor space. The only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars is that the spacing of the "hooks" is a little awkward. The lower ones are too close to floor level to be useful in any application other than stocking-hanging. Otherwise, I love this hall tree.

Love it! So far it is very sturdy, seems high quality, and serves as a great decoration on the side. I have hats and some shirts drying on it that shouldn't go through the dryer. I assembled it in a few minutes (the tools you need come in the box), and it disassembles easy into smaller parts for if I need to move. Without measuring it, I think it is over 6 ft tall.

The style is lovely and it has ample space for coats, scarves and hats. However, the design of the base isn't great - the bottom post and base are held together by a rather short screw. After having been knocked over once or twice accidentally, it became loose and when I tried to tighten it, it quickly became clear that the fastener in the bottom post was actually loose within the post. I tried to secure it further with some other hardware, wood glue, and loktite, but it didn't work and I'm at a loss for other fixes. It was very functional and looked great, from August to December at least. I'll be ordering something with a different base design next, and would suggest this coat tree is kept in a corner and not in a place where it might be knocked over.

Looks even better in person than it does in the pictures! When I first opened the box, I was a little intimidated with all the parts and instructions, but it turned out to be easy to assemble -- took me about 15 minutes. Base is weighted and heavy, making the coat rack very stable and not likely to tip over. I like this coat rack so much, that it's almost too pretty to hang my coats on! It looks great with scarves because you can see the "tree branches" sticking out. Great purchase!

I'm using this as a stocking hanger and it looks great. I sanded and painted the wood ends so that they look like Christmas lights, and I wrapped the pole with a string of lights. Looks very festive and it's a fraction of the cost of other stocking hangers I was looking at.As a coat hanger I'm sure it would be fine. Very easy to assemble and the bottom is weighted, so it's pretty sturdy.
