Best Vacuum I Have Ever Owned
This vacuum will both change and ruin your life, because you will realize how dirty your home really is….😅Best vacuum I have ever owned. For context: my wife has extremely thick, wavy hair and we have a medium size dog with medium length, wiry hair who sheds frequently. We live in a 2 bedroom home with hardwood and tile floors and some rugs.General Performance and Hair PickupThis was our main concern. We owned a Miele Cat and Dog C1 vacuum and my wife’s hair would tangle the brush to hell, making it a pain to clean. I cleaned our entire house without any tangles in the brush. The brush self detangles as it runs so it is perfect for houses with women/pets who shed. This thing is powerful. It will also adjust speed/suction based on the level of dust it detects.P.S. If you have issues with the rug/carpet brush to spin, adjust the speed to eco and lower the slide bar on the head.Battery LifeThis is where the vacuum lacks but for the power it outputs and being cordless, it’s understandable. On the auto setting, you’ll get about 45 minutes on the auto charge, 60 on eco, and about 30 on full power. A little annoying if your house is dirty and you’re in the groove of cleaning but have to stop to charge.WeightFor a bigger guy like myself I find it to be the perfect weight but I can see it being heavy to use for smaller people with continuous use. Not heavier than a cord bag vacuum like a Miele but still on the heavier side for a stick vacuum.Storage CapacityFor a stick vacuum, the storage capacity is pretty good. Depending on the size of your house/level of dirty, it can fill up somewhat quickly but it is easy to empty so it’s not an issue.CleaningSuper easy to clean the brushed and the collection bin. You empty it almost like a pump action, dirty dropping from the bottom. If you have some hair stuck around the filter, fully open and close it a few times and it will be pulled down by the inner rubber ring. The hardwood floor brush is like a microfiber material but easy to disassemble and clean. Watch a YouTube video to be sure but wash the brush with only cold water (the dirt will come off) and let it dry for 24 hours. DO NOT get internal brush head parts wet.Final ThoughtsThis vacuum is worth the money. We got it on sale for 20% off and we are extremely happy we did. Easy to use and clean, expertly cleans rugs and hardwood, and just a great all around machine. We own other Dyson products (hair care) but this purchase cemented us into being a Dyson household.

Vacuuming is seriously fun now!
Wow! My wife and I are 50+ and acted like children with a new toy. This vacuum managed to illuminate and remove dust and fur off the hardwood and tile floors that we hadn’t ever seen before. Much quieter than our regular vacuum (also a Dyson). The suction is powerful. I liked the auto throttle as it encounters dirt. It’s lightweight and easy to push and twist and turn. It’s also easy to click and unclick different accessories. Very well-made. The battery ran as promised for an hour, but we were having a much fun vacuuming things we lost track of time. A second battery looks like $80 so it’d be worthwhile.

ADHD solution to sweeping, moping, and vacuuming
Im going to adult geek out for a second lol.I got the cordless dyson v15 sub wet/dry vacuum and I freaking love it. No dealing with the cord, emptying it takes like 2 seconds, it helps my adhd brain so much because it eliminates the extra steps and hassles of a normal vacuum. I just pick it up and it works, put it back in its stand and it charges. It's light and easy to maneuver around. It's good enough I have no need for a broom or a mop, it does a better job than a broom and is as easy to pick up as the broom except no killing my back to sweep or bend over to use the dust pan. The mop attachment works well enough for spot cleaning or general mopping and is easier than getting a mop.

DYSON DOES NOT PRIORITIZE THEIR CURRENT CUSTOMERS
Couple things here, the vacuum is great albeit expensive. The submarine (wet mop) attachment is just okay. If you understand what the actual function is then you will be fine with it. It doesn’t suck anything up but rather dispenses water/detergent and rolls. It’s fine for me because my main use is to do quick cleans on dog prints, etc. Don’t expect it to perform major cleans. If I was to grade the vacuum and attachments, 4.5 stars, minus a half star for price. I would give the submarine attachment 2.5 stars. However, the submarine attachment worked for a max combined time of 60 minutes, or roughly 3 months of use for me. Contacted Dyson support, went through all the troubleshooting and concluded that the submarine head would need to be replaced, free of charge, under warranty. Great. But no submarine heads are in stock, and they don’t know when they will be. Fast forward 4 months and there are still no submarine heads in stock, still don’t know when they will be. The issue I am having, and I have had this before with Dyson, is they DO NOT PRIORITZE THEIR CURRENT CUSTOMERS. The entire package was in stock on day 1 and has remained in stock this whole time. So yes, they are building and selling the submarine heads but only for people that are buying the whole package new. Apparently, it is not conducive to their profit scheme to set some of those units aside as spare parts to supply their CURRENT customers with replacement units. If you look through the reviews, the submarine head breaking early on in its life cycle is a known issue. What has Dyson done to resolve this? Nothing. So, I am left with the option to continue waiting an indefinite period of time or send my whole vacuum system into Dyson and once it is received in the warehouse and verified, they will send out a replacement unit. Sounds like the best case is 3 weeks without a vacuum. I use the vacuum everyday. When asked if they could send the replacement first, and then once received I would return the old unit, I was told this is impossible. They cannot do that. (Well yes they could, they just decided their policy would say they could not). I offered to give my credit card info and if it wasn’t returned in a set amount of time they could charge me until it was. Nope. Impossible.Dyson typically makes a great product, minus the submarine head that seems to have issues left and right. But I have NEVER been satisfied with their support.

Love this cordless vacuum!
This cordless Dyson is SOOOOO worth the $$$! It is powerful and cleans up dog hair better than my heavy duty canister vacuum (Dyson also) it’s so easy to do a quick cleanup. It’s great for stairs. Not heavy at all. Its compact size tucks right behind my office door. I did purchase a separate metal frame/stand and that’s key. It’s quiet. Doesn’t scare my dogs and the battery life is really good! I kept my old canister vacuum for when the battery runs low. It’s been near 5 months and never had to pull out the old vacuum yet! Yay!
