Not really "stainless steel". It rusts!
My husband believes that everything should be composted so this was a great find: containers with carbon filters so there would be no compost smell in the kitchen. There were promoted as stainless steel which should not rust, but both containers rusted and stained the kitchen counter, It did not happen in the first week or month. It took 6 months to begin to rust. Stainless steel should not rust ever.

Perfect counter top compost bin
We just recently started composting in our back yard and wanted something to collect food scrapes from our kitchen. After searching online for a bit I opted for this set. It's perfect! But the best part is it DOESN'T SMELL!!!We have been using for about 2-3 months now and it is exactly what I was looking for. Easy to use, easy to clean and doesn't look unattractive on my counter.

Doesn't seal well; returning it
I had another counter top compost bin a few years ago, and the thing I liked about it was that it sealed well enough to keep fruit flies away. I can tell right off the bat that these do not seal well at all. I will be returning them.

Perfect for my kitchen scraps
I use both of these on my counter. One is for eggshell & banana peels since they don't have to be composted. The other is for everything else. I love them! Am SO glad I bought them! The charcoal filters work GREAT so no smell is detected

Great product and perfect sizes
I love it because it is easy to clean and handle. Very sturdy and it doesn’t smell because of the carbon sponge. Very happy with my purchase.

Love that when one is full I can take it to empty it, clean it, let it dry, and have the other to use.
