It works great, hasn't lost suction yet. I actually didn't stick this to my windshield, but instead, bought that amazon base that has the 3 beanbags on the edge and the smooth center to apply this mount (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0051FWA7U). It works great so far. Lost a star only because the constant attaching and detaching causes me to have to tighten the neck or often than I'd like, but it's not terrible bad, Also it holds pretty tight, but I wish the spring was slightly less tight so that it would be easier to attach and remove my phone with 1 hand. Can't knock it too much for that. It works for how I'm using it, but I can't say how much it would stick and stay on my windshield without falling off.

It is not a great solution to the dilemma of mounting the cell phone. in the car. I find it is a little difficult to get the phone in and out and the only place I can get the mount to adhere is right on the face of the glass informational portion of the dash--not a great feature. I do use it but will probably keep looking for something more to my satisfaction.

I bought this hoping it would mount on my dash as it's closer to the car charger. It does not, so I'm stuck mounting it on the windshield on the other side. It works fantastic on glass so I guess I'll keep it. If it wasn't such a hassle to ship it back for a refund and get a different mount, I'd do that but I'll stick with it.

Despite "dash" appearing in the heading on Amazon (when I bought this) and some illustrations showing the holder sitting upright, I've found it does not stick at all to the dash in any of the rental cars I frequent (and I'm not surprised because others mentioned this)--but it adheres to glass okay, except in ultra-frigid temperatures (until the glass warms), and it does hold the phone tightly. So I'm keeping it, but I'm still on the lookout for something better.

I like the idea of this cell phone mount - the spring loaded clip is intuitive and holds the phone well. Unfortunately I find this mount flexes too much - I'll be driving down a road that's not even that bumpy, and the phone will be shaking back and forth quickly (which is distracting and makes the screen harder to read). I can see the plastic post flexing, it's just not rigid enough. The problem is exacerbated at highway speeds. I'm going to try another mount, hopefully it doesn't have this flaw.

It won't stick to the top of my dashboard, so I have to stick it to the front of the dashboard and then it isn't in a good position for me to see navigation.

It adheres to the windshield with a strong suction cup, so strong, I can't get it off. The spring-loaded jaws are hard to open. You need two hands to snap your cell phone into the jaws. It does accommodate my Galaxy S-5 in an Otterbox. If you like to put your phone in and take it out frequently, you might want to consider another product.

It did not stick to the dash. Holds to the window just fine. On window it sets the phone at a strange angle. It's made well and tightens well.
