best cleaning and oiling combo in one
I have used this product for years. I use to work for a large gun store and we used this on everything. This will clean and break down dirt and debris with out being a real hash chemical that burns your hands and does who knows what to the firearm. After you clean the gun I wipe it down with this as it is a great water repellent. I don't remember the entire story but I think the salesman that got us using this product said that water a repellent used in salt water condensation is how this product got started but can't remember all the details. After I clean my firearm with this I wipe it down. All of it stock and all with a real light coat. Any moving parts like the internals or the guide block for the slide I put a good coat on and don't wipe off. It also makes it so any powder or dirt in the gun will wipe down real easy and won't stick the next time you clean it. That and it just smells good.
