This is the light bulb I have been waiting two decades for. You won't be disappointed, especially considering all the money you will save on electricity.I installed these bulbs in 6 recessed fixtures in my kitchen, which measures 12'x14' with 8' ceilings. These bulbs are brighter than the 100W incandescent bulbs I used in the past, and much brighter than the 100W CFL I have used over the last few years. The light from the Tahoe is daylight white (no yellow or blue). Since the overall light in my kitchen was too bright (some people would call it harsh), I installed a Lutron Diva CL 150W dimmer switch (for LED bulbs), and cranked the output down about 15-20%. No buzz, no blinking, just perfection!This bulb is definitely dimmable. However, like other LED bulbs, you cannot dim this bulb down below about 10% of maximum output as you can an incandescent bulb (even with the special low-power lever on this Diva dimmer). In addition, at low power there is a half-second delay before the lights come on.

Originally ordered 6 of the finned version for my 5" kitchen cans. Before I received them, this came out. $2 lower price, and slightly higher light output. I asked G7 power if eliminating the fins could cause higher temperature and shorter life. I was assured that the elimination of the fins is due to a higher efficiency heat sink and the internals are not hotter. Returned the finned version as soon as I got them, and ordered this.When I was planing to purchase the finned version, I was worried this would not be bright enough. My old cans were using 32W Triple Twin Tube CFL Bulb (GX24q-3). This CFL supposedly give out 2050 Lumens (2400 initial), far higher than the 1200 of this LED. Given Amazon's return policy, I decided to give it a try. This bulb uses less than half the power, but is about 1/3 brighter (measured with my camera). Not sure why though as the Lumens is only 60% of the CFL. My only guess is the reflector of the old CFL is not good, trapping the light in the can instead of reflecting it out.I like the 4000K color. It is very similar to the 4100K CFL (but it is a personal taste).Will see if there is any reliability issue. So far it is a 5.

Lights exactly as advertised, very pleased with G7 and Amazon as far as selection, ordering, delivery, etc. Would not hesitate to order from them again. My only recommendation would be to learn about the different Kelvin ratings for lighting before you buy. I purchased these lights for use in a living room, and chose the 4000k Bright White lights thinking it would give us a bit more light for our living room. While the light was bright and white as advertised, it was a bit too bright and too white for living room use. I would describe the lighting as a bit harsh, and my wife made me remove them from the living room. I ended up using them in a bathroom instead, and the brighter light seems more appropriate there. I think these lights would be ideal to light a work space where excellent bright lighting would be desired. I think for use in living areas, a lower Kelvin rating would be the way to go, and I am still trying to figure out the ideal balance between bright enough but not too harsh.

Used 2 of these bulbs to replace 75W incandescent in can fixtures just a few days ago. The relatively high color of 4000K combined with 1220 Lumen has made a huge difference in the brightness of the main work area of our kitchen with 12 foot ceiling (no more needing a flashlight to know when the percolator is filled to max mark, seriously). That said, we achieved our main objective. We will re-bulb the remaining cans in this room soon using this same bulb. At current prices I still consider LEDs as an investment but am somewhat encouraged with the direction of improved technology and choices in the industry. The one aspect we'll need to get use to is that, as mentioned by other reviews, these bulbs put out much more light than we're used to at the lowest setting of the dimmer.

I bought six of these to replace some Cree Homedepot led light bulbs that buzzed and was very blue color These are the best color for my kitchen NOT YELLOW and NOT BLUE!!! The 4000K is just white...haha but the important thing is they dont hum with the dimmer switch...I am buying more g7 because they do not hum...only draw back is that they are still expensive.

My travel trailer is a 2006. These latches were delivered promptly. They seemed like the same quality as my existing, but the handle was slightly bigger & longer. They did fit with a little adjusting here and there, and I'm basically a happy camper. Would have given 5 stars, but they are not exactly the same and you may need to "putz" with them a little - but this may be because the manufacturer (which says it's Phillips) may have changed them slightly.

These bulbs were exactly what I was looking for. As CFL bulbs blow, I've been replacing them with LED bulbs. The jury is still out on how much life I'll get out of the product, but the CFLs we were using did not live up to the promises of the manufacturers. These bulbs are exceptionally bright, I would recommend installation of a dimmer to achieve the perfect level of light. The color is a true bright white that my wife and I prefer. No yellow tint like the soft white, or that ice blue tint that comes with "daylight" bulbs. The only reason I gave 4, instead of 5 stars, is the rounded cover that goes over the working end of the bulb fell off on 1/4 bulbs installed. It was easy to put back on, and hasn't come off, since. Overall, a great purchase. I'll be choosing G7 when I get ready to start swapping bulbs of other sizes and styles.

Very bright and pure white light, exactly what I was looking for. I have a 22x35' room with a cathedral ceiling that requires a lot of light and these bulbs are doing it very well. I will be adding dimmer switches as sometimes there is too much light - a nice problem to have.
