Like all TherMod items, the decking is made from Thermally Modified pine processed for 60 hours' cycle in the kiln. During this extreme high temperature process all wood nutrients are eliminated. The result is a rot, mold and insect resistant wood fibre with 25+ years life span-- WITHOUT USING ANY CHEMICALS. After the process, the pieces are factory Flex seed oiled which will prolong surface protection against fading when exposed to direct sunlight. This decking product is reversible. You can choose the standard flat face or the grooved face. The pieces are 72" long with Tongue and Groove end matching. They can be attached to the joists from the ends or from the edges.
