Styrofoam Wig Head (Female)

It does what it needs to do. :)

The wig heads themselves are pretty good. They are light (obviously) so if you have heavier wigs, you may need a counterweight or something. I just duct taped mine to the top of my dresser. My main issue is with the shipping. I ordered two of them at first and they arrived in a plastic shipping bag, but they were luckily undamaged. I eventually had to order more due to a sudden influx of wigs, so I splurged and ordered six of them so that I would have extras. Again, they came in a plastic shipping bag, and every one of them was indented or damaged in some way. All of the damage was cosmetic, and they still worked just fine, but they do need a better way to shop them to prevent any serious damage.

Arrived way earlier than listed (it was due to arrive around July at the earliest) so I was pleasantly surprised when I received it today.The head itself is a little smaller than some of the heads I currently own, and it was also dented in certain areas. But, since it's going to be used heavily (particularly, being jammed with pins to secure the wig), it doesn't really matter. And the free necklace is cute.

It's a little smaller than I thought it would be, but that may be my fault. Moreover, I'm very satisfied with the size because I bought it to display little girls' hats on.

Box was very small for the wig head... it literally fit snug inside of the box long ways. The box arrived damaged. The head arrived damaged, half way broken neck.Thankfully, i was able to tape it together and still use. As cheap as these things are i don't think it's too much to ask that they be packaged better bc even though i saw multiple reviews where others received damaged heads...i gave it a shot and was let down. i should have just went to hair store. But I'll know next time

This item is shipped in a plastic bag, inside the shipping plastic envelope, with absolutely no protection against damage. One wrap of bubble wrap would have done the job. The head is more the size of a child and it is very lightweight like stated in other reviews but that works okay with me. I bought this to photograph knit hats that I've made to catalog the patterns, but the dents in the face are a distraction. So if you don't care about dents, this is a great cheap purchase, but don't expect your package to look like the picture. Go to Hobby Lobby and buy one there.

You get what you pay for. It's as described, but even my shorter, lighter wigs will tip over on it. Next time, I will invest more money for a more solid wig stand.

Works great to hold my hair topper. Get a wig pin to hold your pieces and will be fine. I'm considering putting it on a base to keep it from falling over when styling hair, it's very light and can be tricky keeping it balanced.
