UPDATE 10/14/19- Due to rainy weather and my schedule, I was unable to ride my bike for 2 weeks. Oddly, when I finally got to ride today, my front brakes were about 60% less effective than usual and they were very squeaky upon stopping. It certainly was not as effective as my rear brake. Upon visual inspection, nothing was unusual with the disk. I wiped them down and nothing changed. After a short 14 mile ride, they were still not as effective as they should be. Thety have not been used hard or abused in any way. There doesn't seem to be a fluid leak of any kind and lever squeeze feels totally normal. I will pull the pads out today and post results if anything is weird with them.INSTALLED ON MY 70LB FAT EBIKE. I weigh in at about 250lbs. My bike has Star Union dual piston hydraulic brake calipers that have excellent stopping capability when I'm traveling at higher ebike speeds. With these ceramic pads, it's ever better once they were broken in.The only issue I encountered with these pads is that using the spring separators that came with the pads, the rear brake squealed horribly at every braking. I changed out the separator spring for my original one and it now only squeals sometimes at low speed. I took away one star for this.

Don't forget to adjust your lever adjustments all the way to the IN position before installing these. You are replacing completely worn out pads and need to accommodate for increased pad thickness if you want your rotors to fit in the pad gap.

Easy install fit my Shimano breaks great and grips right away. No real downhill use so if somethings happens I’ll update.

Pads are great. I tried putting them in and I couldn’t get my calipers to go back. Paid the local bike shop $10 to install. I’ve put about 100 miles of hard riding and no noise and stop great
