Used one of these to repair a very expensive gore tex motorcycle jacket. Had visions of having to replace complete zip or worse complete jacket until i saw these. The 'eye' part is a little thick to pass through the hole in the slider but with a bit of perseverance and patience it went through. Now jacket as good as new. Seem quite substantial have used the jacket several times since fitting and no issues

I received the order from Amazon this morning. Whatever is used to spread the clasp open in Picture No 3, of the 7 mini pictures down the upper left-hand side detailing the zipper pull tabs, and then 2 'Open the zipper joint' is not included in the purchase price and is certainly NOT a needle-nosed plier. The surface of the clasp is smooth and polished and the needle-nosed pliers will very quickly move from top to bottom inside the clasp rather than from side to side to spread the clasp open once force is applied. The same smooth and polished surface again doesn't help when closing the clasp with needle-nosed pliers. I should add that I am 85 with arthritic fingers, which is a hindrance rather than a help. I will. however, persevere.The thickness of the clasps in both sizes of the zipper pull tabs is very similar and not as different as they appear in mini photographs No's 1,2,4, and 5.

I struggled to find replacement metal zip pulls to repair my suitcase after damage to the ZIP’s padlock ring and pull meant I couldn’t lock the case. They needed to be long enough to fit into a fixed TSA lock I bought and fitted to the case and strong enough to withstand airport travel!These are fantastic. The bigger ones are the right length and being metal they are really strong.They are easy to fit - I used a small flat screwdriver to prise the ring off and place it through the zipper. I used small pliers to press the ring back as it can be a bit loose - just be careful not to squeeze too hard!!The hole in the end of the zip pull will take a small padlock or fit into a TSA lock like mine.

They look strong but, I can't get even the small ones to go through the holes on my 1)Harley Davidson motor cycle boots; 2) My horse riding half chaps; 3) My suitcases, 4) My Billabong rucksack. I will now buy some 10mm split rings.

I have a great IKEA travel bag but the toggles all broke overtime as they were pretty poor and these replacements are solid.Various sizes that suited my needs and so far after months of use they are still going strong.

Lovely looking item but was too big to fit through the heavy duty zip on a coat so had to return it.

Great product, which I use to replace broken zipper pull tabs in my Swiss gear rucksack. They look fantastic.
