8200M Blade Kit

Arrived on time, in excellent condition (sheen of oil present preventing rust), and properly packaged. Remember this thing is SHARP. It's packaged with a plastic 'guard' on the cutting edge of the blade you CANNOT TRUST to protect you while handling as the blade had already cut through much of it. After carefully removing the old blade (7 screws and 3 bolts) set the new blade upright with cutting edge on white spongy surface, slowly operate the cutting arm will slide the blade into exact position to re-install the 7 retaining screws. That was you don't have to press against the sharp edge.

Returned because they were the wrong product

This is not a "kit". It's just the blade and does not include the screws that are required to attach it to the cutter. That was an issue for us because our screws were mostly worn out since we had to continuously tighten them as they come loose. The kit also didn't include the plastic blade holder that's needed for installation. Don't try to install the blade without the holder because it's VERY SHARP and can cut you badly.

The blade on my paper cutter was getting dull, so I bought this replacement blade to switch while I sharpened my old blade. What can I say? It fit right in and is scary sharp, cuts paper stacks with ease.

Bought the QCM machine in 2006, been using the original blade, probably have cut a several hundred thousand pages, but it was getting harder and harder to cut a 200 page stack. Bought the replacement blade, with a few screws removed took old blade out, new blade in, flipped over cutting stick to a new surface, and it's cutting like a hot knife thru butter.

Exactly what we were looking for. Went in perfect and works perfect. Came in time expected.
