The Original Pet Bowl Mat - 12.5 in. x 21.5 in. (Black; Pet Mat)

Purchased the xl dryaing mat. Was disappointed when I received it and saw it had a Bed Bath and Beyond price tag that says $7.99!

This product is an excellent improvement upon the idea of placing a dish towel under dish-drying racks. It is a 1/2" thick pad which is cushiony and absorbent . I placed it under my dish rack and have not looked back since. This pad seems to miraculously absorb the water dripping from the drying dishes, while keeping your counter top dry and clean. I was worried about the possibility of mold developing under this pad, but that has not occurred.When the pad has been in use for awhile, it can be easily washed in a washing machine, hung on the line to dry, and re-used. I liked the properties of this product so much that I purchased a second pad. It is certainly a visual improvement, it gives a far neater appearance to the area where I dry my dishes. But, better yet,, it truly works well by absorbing all of the water dripping too the counter. I can highly recommend this product, you will not regret your purchase.

Awesome product, originally bought for canning set-up but have bought more of these mats over time as they are useful in so many situations. I now have 2 for our downstairs "canning kitchen". One for placing hot and dripping mason jars before filling and another for allowing the finished product to cool and settle overnight. The mat provides both a soft and absorbent surface for the filled jars to sit as they are still hot and can't be placed on a cold counter top. I also bought a mat for the upstairs granite countertops that always seem to be wet and constantly in need of wiping down. Now I put one of the incredibly absorbent mats down before cooking and take in up when I finish. (I use the black side of the mat because it blends in with the counter tops and doesn't look like more "stuff" sitting out on an already cluttered space.) No more constantly drying off the countertops during meal prep,and many fewer wet dish towels at the end of the day. I love this product,can you tell? :-)

I really like this product. I hated plastic mats under the dish rack on the counter so this took away that. With the plastic ones, we always got mildew if it wasnt rinsed off every other day, too much of a pain. This one we have no mold or mildew and it is easy to just throw in the washing machine when dirty.

This really does dry the dishes super fast, and it itself dries faster than other generic mats I've bought at big box stores. Make sure to put it with the mesh side up! There's something magical & dare I say "desiccating" about that mesh. That's where the magic happens.I've laundered it, both washed and dried it by machine, and no visible wear or tear or damage. I like the neutral color too, blends in nice with my countertops.

This mat is just what I have been needing. It works perfectly for my needs. I have a dish washer and it works well but it runs for what seems like 2 1/2 to 3 hrs. I like to conserve water and energy so I don't use it often but I like that it is there. I wash by hand and place the dishes on the mat after washing and rinsing. The mats are attractive, they seem to allow the dishes to dry quickly, they do not get sopping wet. They keep the counter perfectly dry they look stylish if you have to wait for awhile before putting the dishes up. The mat dries quickly and usually is only damp it folds to about a fourth of it size and stores out of sight, no odor or staining. I wash the mat on the short cycle and let it tumble dry briefly.I bought the black and the tan because I thought I might need 2 if I had a lot of dishes and, I wanted to see what color I like best. I purchased the large size and I generally just use one. I like both colors but I think that I may like the tan best.

This is better than I thought it would be. I have a narrow space EXACTLY as wide as this pad and EXACTLY as long as this pad for my fancy black wrought iron dish drainer. For the past 10 years I've been using a black tea towel under it. It didn't exactly fit, but it did the job. Then it became old looking. I was looking for a new black tea towel when I came across this. I thought, "What the heck. I'll give it a try." WoW! It's perfect. Actually, it is better than perfect. I love it. I hope it lasts me a long while. Time will tell.

Ok about 6 months ago (maybe more or less--lol) I purchased a bamboo drying rack. I love it. However any mat that I tried with it to contain the water and go back to the sink would not work. (Oh, this is for those people who has the old fashioned dishwasher.....my two hands!). I had an old beach towel and turned this into my dish drying mat. I stumbled upon this just less than 2 days ago and ordered it. Ok I have to admit, washing dishes is not on the top of my priority list, however with a type a personality I have to have them done. I used it today after washing it. Did it shrink. I don't think so. Held up in the washer and dryer (no dryer sheets or fabric softener) I used it with my bamboo dish rack and it worked. No water on the countertop and/or floor. I love it! It worked and looks good. I'm tying to redo gradually my kitchen and this fits right in. I had no idea and only wished that I would have discovered it when I purchased the dish rack! Love it! I would recommended purchasing this.
