Beautiful softness, but the part you attach to loop, needs to be longer. My only complaint..

This is not the hair towel I was hoping for. I got a great terry cloth hair towel on Amazon but it’s no longer available so I tried this one. It’s not as thick or absorbent and was still damp a day later. I like the design. The loop makes it easy to stay on. But my hunt continues for a great hair towel.

I have hair past my shoulders.For eons I had been wrapping my hair in a regular sized bath towel and doing a balancing act trying to keep it on my head while I moved around. So When I saw the photo of a very happily smiling woman with this wrap on her head- and read the positive reviews, I thought that this might work for me too. What arrived looked a bit unassuming- it was a triangular piece of terry fabric, and I was unimpressed. Then I used it for the first time.... I'm impressed. I got this hair towel in a tan color and it is very practical. It can be washed with light colors, does not show dirt and the color does not run. The finishing around the edge is bound with bias seam binding and is very sturdy. There is a thick elastic loop towards the base of the "hood" which secures the twisted towel portion. The towel is extremely soft to the touch and is not heavy, yet absorbs exceptionally well. I twisted the towel very tightly at first, but even a more gentle twist is very effective and gets the job done. I find that I can wear the towel for a short time and when I am ready to blow dry my hair the towel has wicked away quite a bit of water leaving my hair ready to be deal with. The towel itself is never excessively heavy or dripping wet. I hang it on a hook and it dries in no time. This is well made, sturdy and it works!

So difficult to get away from microfiber these days. Its not absorbent, but clings to and creates lint, clings to odor.. and bacteria. I hate the stuff and I think it feels gross. I miss cotton, but I've found bamboo is an AWESOME alternative. When I cant find cotton, I don't hesitate at all to go to bamboo. I own several bamboo towels and a bamboo blanket, all of which have fantastic weight but have held up really well.The edges of this towel wrap are reinforced with a lining to keep it from unraveling. I thought that was nice. I think that the no elastic band is to keep you from pulling the towel too tight. Its suppose to be worn loose to allow hair to vent and keep it from tugging and breaking. You can make sure to keep it on your head and loose in the body by just pulling it tight around the reinforced part and framing it to your face , twisting then pulling the twist up and through before securing it. Its really lightweight, unlike some of the big towels I own.. which were actually straining my neck and pulling on my hair as they started to tilt off my head from weight as I tried to do things about the house.The only thing.. I wish this were available in at least a tan as well. I color my hair on occasion and it does bleed into my towels during the first several weeks of washing. Tan I can get away with using.. white, forget it. I can't imagine if I were dying it anything darker or more vibrant than dark brown. All in all though.. I love it and it makes my life easy.

Great towel for hair. The loop in back is good. You can easily get the towel end in there! Color I got was the blue. It fits good but I have shoulder length hair. If you have really thick and long hair? This may be small. I felt it was okfor my hair which is moderately thick and not too long. But real long hair I think will be small. I gave this 4 stars bc the material itself doesn’t seem too thick. I mean I was hoping for a nice heavy thick towel material but this feels more like a face cloth thickness? Wash cloth? Similar to that. I don’t feel it dries the hair quicker. But it keeps it up and In place. And for that reason along you should get it. I do t miss a floppy big towel Bc that never stayed. Just towel dry your hair first? And then wrap it up in this hair one.... and I can watch tv, do makeup, even chores! It stays where it needs to. Let’s me move. And I think for the price it’s a good deal.

At first, I was kind of disappointed it's not as plush as I would have preferred, so it seemed it would make a less impressive gift than it otherwise would. I decided that the silkiness makes up for that, though. I think it's even more absorbent than my cotton one. My cotton one was secured by a button, which ended up coming off. I was dubious about the elastic loop on this bamboo one, but it turns out to be beneficial. You can pull the tail of the headwrap through it until it's snug on the head, regardless of head size or hair volume, which is good, because this towel is more than large enough to accommodate my hair. I can't imagine it being too small for anyone. The microfiber ones I've seen are tiny, and my cotton one is also much smaller than this bamboo one.However, something to keep in mind is that bamboo hasn't been shown to retain its antibacterial properties once it's processed into fabric. The material is still nice, though, and I might end up getting one of these for myself, to replace my old, dingy cotton one.

I have only had this towel for a few days but I really like it so far. I used to use a small thin towel that had to be over 25 years old. It worked because it was not bulky and heavy. But, after all of those years it became threadbare. I needed something new and I absolutely despise microfiber. When I found this I was excited. I read the reviews and was worried regarding the size, fit, the fact that it was not a flat towel but rather like a long hood-type thing, and the loop in the back. I decided to go ahead and order anyway since it was so inexpensive. So far, I am very happy. I have a medium sized head with longer than medium length thick hair. It fits perfect. No problem twisting it and it fits the loop easily. The loop is ELASTIC, not just fabric as other reviews state. It is nice and absorbent, comfortable, and not heavy at all. I believe this should work for just about everyone besides a very small head (like a child). Even with short hair you can just twist it tighter. I don't leave reviews ever without an incentive, but here I am doing it free of charge. Good product...happy customer. Thank you
