flimsy piece of junk - DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I bought 2 of these planning to combine them to screen the back and rear sides of my electric cooktop. Thet are smaller than they appear - the pan in the picture must be a 9" pan and I suspect the range is 24". When I got them I went back to the description and scrolled down to the product details. It says 9.5" x 0.1". Each panel is 9.5 x 9.5 and very thin. I'm sure that after the 1st washing by hand it would be dented, bent out of shape and the cheap hinges wouldn't work right. I doubt it would survive the dishwasher. This is the first review I have ever done, but these splatter guards really ticked me off. They were packed deceivingly well between thick cardboard. I was shocked when I open the envelope and saw how inferior these things are. To add insult to injury, I paid $4.95 each, $9.90 total, for shipping (not covered by my Amazon Prime). I threw them out without even using them. I wasn't worth the hassle of hoping they would stand up. A slight nudge while cooking would send them sprawling all over the cooktop. I was so ticked off I decided not to waste my time packing them up, driving to the post office, waiting in line and paying return shipping. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.

It's okay.
It is not the quality of the one I had years ago. But it's the only game in town. It was packaged poorly and was crammed in the mailbox, so one corner is damaged. It still works, but ...........

Bad product, it came damaged - BIG dent in one of panels
Bad Bad Bad product, Bad company to let it go out the door damaged. To send it back would have cost me more than I paid for it.

The picture is misleading...this product does not have rolled edges, which would make it sturdier. You would think that after 3 bad reviews for packaging the problem would have been resolved. The item came with no real protection, allowing it to have a crumpled corner and other creases. Even a piece of currugated cardboard just a little larger than the item would have been an improvement.
