Great Product
Hade this on my motorcycle in a rain storm, turned it on the next morning and lit right up. Been working great.LED display is hidden but give it power and it’s there. Button is strong and not flimsy, feels like a soft eraser. I like the single usb port, never used two on my bike.Looks like something out of the 80s that keeps working, a great example of when less is more creative.

Beautiful Unit
This adapter is well made and really blended in with my motorcycle as it has a lot of chrome on it. It is solidly constructed and I like the fact that it comes with a DC mini plug with adapter cable that gives it extra utility. BEWARE ! This is a "cigarette lighter" adapter and is not fully compatible nor the same thing as 12Volt outlets found in most new cars and other vehicles. As I found out, if you want this adapter to work with USB chargers and other devices made for 12 volt outlets, you will have to modify it. Modification is fairly easy and requires you to replace the recessed center pin with a screw that protrudes. The original hot pin does not protrude and therefore does not make contact the the center pin of most 12 volt plugs.

Another update May 2019: ... a bit flimsy and time will proof if it's good enough and holding
Another update in May 2019: After contacting GoldenHawk they instantly told me not to worry and they're shipping out a free replacement the next business day. That's what I call great customer service!Update in May 2019: It still turns on and off and the red LED is lit, but it quit charging my phone - no idea why. The mount which I questioned in the beginning seems to be fine and holding up well.Original comment: The mount seems a bit flimsy and time will proof if it's good enough and holding. Very disappointing is that so-called waterproofed cap - it's not even sitting tight on it and water will go in for sure. That's especially disappointing since they made such a big deal out of it in the description

Great for charging phone.
Works okay but display only shows bike voltage for less than a second when turned on. After that even with nothing plugged in it displays random ever changing numbers whether bike is running or not. Some chargers shows amount being drawn in amperes. This thing helps you pick lotto numbers. I do like the filter lens over the LED display it does make it more pleasant to look at even if its measuring a phantom amp draw.

Nice unit, functions well. Recommended, with a fused pigtail for the battery connection.
Really nice little unit. I was able to mount on my bars, and route the cable along with existing cables, to the battery for connection. So far, the unit has functioned flawlessly, allowing me to use my phone, in a separate mount, while charging, seemlessly. The mount and tightening bracket could be made or constructed better, but so far, after several hundred miles, the mount has remained solid and in place. I do check the tightening crew occasionally to be sure. One enhancement suggestion I would make would be to include an inline fused pigtail for connecting to the battery, which I purchased and used with this, from a different vendor.

Installation difficulties.
Update within asterisks: *Slow charging was due to a faulty cable. I still had to ziptie the device to the handle bars...*Plugged this device into the manufacturer installed SAE pigtail (fused), and got a very slow charge on my phone. Mounted it anyway, under the assumption that the low current was due to the motorcycle not running, and had several difficulties. The largest spacer would not close, no spacer would not clamp. I ultimately had to use the smallest spacer and contort the bracket to hold. Started my motorcycle and the charge speed did not improve. At best, this will prolong the life of the battery, but it does not mirror a 2.1A charge speed, at all. Furthermore, as others have mentioned, the unit will not stay mounted.Very disappointing experience.

Does the job!
Easy to install. Does just what I want mounted on the handlebars. The first one did not work, but a replacement was promptly sent.

Garbage
Pretty much garbage. Unit I got had no voltage digital read out. Was just a USB. And after hooking up to battery. Heard a click and poof. It was done. Garbage. Don’t purchase.
