National Geographic World Physical Wall Map (45.75 x 30.5 in) (National Geographic Reference Map) Map – January 1, 2018

A great world map with lots of detail that is hard to see in the included pictures. I like that national boundaries are not shown. This allows you to see the bigger geographic picture. Major cities are shown, and this allows you to figure-out where the nations are located. Many national boundaries coincide with geologic features.One thing I would have liked to see... I wish they had included the tectonic plate boundaries (using narrow red lines) on the main map. This would highlight how they relate to under-ocean and coastal features, yet it would not detract from their depiction.

My son needed it for school. It's very nice and durable

A very nice, well designed map. Unfortunately I thought it was laminated (my bad) and now I can't find an affordable frame to hang it in my classroom.

It's a very accurate map.I purchased it to teach my children.It has a horrible omission, though - it has no heights scale. When explaining to my children what green and gray and yellow and shades of blue mean, I have no confirmation and no reference for them.Hope they fix it in the next edition.
