I don't think the tawa is durable. But it certainly is value for money at 430 something. If you are cooking daily in it for breakfast or dinner for more that 2 people go for another product. But if it's just for one person or 2 it is just fine. I think it will last for 6 to 8 months max. Not at all heavy. Tried making dosa in induction cooker it burned. So try it only on gas stove

dosas sticking to the surface
Dosas were not sticking for first few uses, but now it has started to stick.

Not worth the money
The media could not be loaded. At first, it seemed good so I kept it and threw the packaging but after a few uses it got messed up and npw I cannot return it.I expected better from a brand like Nirlon, especially at this price!I have made roti, paratha, and dosa on this.It works for all but it gets very dirty and it deveopes marks and scratches that just won't go away, despite using only silicon spatula on this and soft cleanjng scrub.Making dosa is also a little tricky on this otherwise it sticks badly on the tawa.It does not serve the purpose of a non stick cookware. I bought this because I wanted to try ceramic but it's a total waste of money.
