Wooden Play Food 32 Pcs Cutting Food Fruits and Vegetables Toys Pretend Food Toy Food for Toddlers with Storage Box (32 pcs)

This set of wooden food has given my granddaughter (and slightly older grandson) so much pleasure since I bought it last year.The range of different items is good, it has introduced her to food she might not have recognised otherwise (asparagus anyone?), and she has had hours of play from it.The little apron and chef's hat has gone the way of many things and both have been torn and gone in the bin but the food items are still going strong as is the tub they came in.By the way, my grandson has learned about magnets and what is magnetic about the house just from playing with this.I did notice that some people commented on the smallness of some of the items, we didn't feel the need to remove anything but that does depend on what age your child is. Neither of my grandchildren were tempted to put these in their mouths although they did do the pretend 'eating' as we did with the food the 'made' us.Well worth the money.

This would of got a 5 star review if it wasn't for all the plastic. Every little piece of food is wrapped in plastic , if you are buying wooden toys to reduce plastic like I am then this kind of defeats the whole idea. The chefs hat and apron is of really bad quality and in my opinion shouldn't even be classed as part of the set , they should just be thrown in as extras .

My grandson love these , he plays for hours chopping , I would recommend these to anyone who has children

This toy is nice, good quality and nice materials. I had to return it an opt for other alternative though, as I was not pleased with the size of the fruits and veggies ( too small-and my 21 months old tends to put everything in his mouth ) and the design ( the tomato and orange had the same shape, just different colours) and I wanted something where baby can see the seeds, the inside and outside appearance, etc.It comes with a storage box, fruits and veggies, knife and cutting board.

Good quality, however it comes with a different container to the one in the pictures that amazon provides. Very soft tube that contain the pieces all written in chinese letters. So probably it wont last long.Every fruit/veg is packed in plastic inside tje container and I buy wooden toys to avoid the use of plastic.Other than that good.

These are good and you get what you see in the picture. My toddler has played with them a lot. The only downsides are the lollies are small and pose a choking hazard and the paint has come off the turnip thing because she liked to suck on it. Other than that they are great.

Great value for money. Big set with some lovely different fruit and vedge items. Magnets and so easy to use and stick together great. Fab set. Would definitely recommend.

Whilst I thought these fruits and vegatables were of very good quality, I only gave four stars as one or two of the pieces are very small and could pose a choking hazard for a small child. Additionally, although the fruits and vegatables are well made from wood, they are presented in a plastic box. A wooden or sturdy cardboard box would be more environmentally friendly.
