Malco Modes Samantha 835 Tea-Length Petticoat for Halloween Costume, Vintage Style, Party wear and Festive Crinoline

I recently decided to go with chiffon petticoats. They are definitely more comfortable than others. So after buying several, I found the best were banned lifestyles and Malco modes Samantha. Which are both 26" or considered to be tea length. I'm 5'4" 180 pounds and they both came about 2 " below my knees in size large. The differences are price...Banned will cost you less, however you will have to wait longer to get it. Banned is incredibly soft, fairly full and lined, if that matters to you. With chiffon, they are so soft anyways that being lined or not didn't really matter to me. If you like to layer petticoats sometimes it's in the way. Malco modes are soft and Beautifully full. They are not as soft as banned but are definitely soft. I think they hold there shape a lot better than banned because they are more firm. When you sit down you get that poof that is desired. Where the banned petticoat is so so soft it slips through your legs and just hangs. So over all I think Malco modes is the better petticoat for those who want the poof and bounce and want to own the fact they are wearing a petticoat or two....The banned petticoats are beautiful, but for a more descreet or under stated look.

I bought this petticoat to go under a circle skirt (28") for square dancing. I don't like the shorter skirts, and wanted something longer. I called Malco Modes to ask their advice, and this is the petticoat they recommended to go with the Hey Viv! circle skirt I ordered. I believe this item is only available on Amazon at this time. When the petticoat arrived, I tried it on with the skirt and it works perfectly. I love how swishy it is, without being stiff. I really appreciate the lady at Malco Modes taking the time to talk with me and then to recommend a product specifically to meet my needs. I have heard only good things about Malco Modes, and it seems they are justified. The only thing I wish I could have done differently is get the petticoat in black, but that color was not available in my size. Hopefully it will be later. If so, I will just have to buy another one!Quick update: I danced in this petticoat for the first time at our square dance club the other night. Oooooh, what fun! It twirled and swirled, and the fluff is so pretty. My daughter said it looked lovely when I twirled. It felt so feminine, and it really added to my enjoyment of dancing.

I've been obsessed with the 1950's housewife look for a long time. A couple of years back, I bought a few swing dresses and three different petticoats along with some seam-back nylons. I was happy with the dresses and nylons, but the petticoats were awful. They were itchy and, even after washing several times, the dye in the fabric would color my skin. They gave great fullness to the dresses, but were unbearable to wear. They were so stiff and itchy, they snagged my nylons. So, I gave up on the vintage housewife look.After doing more research recently, I happened upon this brand. While it's a lot pricier than I had initially thought I would spend on a petticoat, I decided to give it a try. I went with the cream color as I figured this would be a great transitional neutral among all of my dresses. It came in a very timely fashion.When I opened the packaging, I knew immediately this was a completely different product than what I had tried in the past. It was soft and flowing. The fabric is not itchy at all and it sits comfortably, even if you have to roll it up for shorter length dresses. This is such a smart investment for those of you who want the look and still desire quality and comfort. I definitely plan on purchasing more from this brand in the future.

I have several petticoats now as I dress in vintage daily. I was having difficulty finding a good black petticoat that was the length I needed. Came across this one and it was double the cost of my other ones but after returning so many black ones previously, I decided it'd be worth the try. It arrived and I AM IN LOVE! It is SO much softer and fluffier than any of my others, exactly the length I wanted and it fits wonderfully. You can't see the waist band through the dress and I love the way it makes my dresses fit. The only one minor complaint I have is because the elastic is so thin, it can twist a bit more than I'm used to but it's nothing that interrupts my day or causes any major issue. I just have to flip it back right before I put it on or if I remove it for any reason throughout the day. I'll be headed back to get another color or two!

Je mets le jupon avec des robes swing pour aller danser (le swing). Le tissu du jupon est confortable, souple, léger et fluffy. L'effet quand je spin est vraiment fantastique, toute la robe suit le mouvement. Bref, j'adore, et j'ai systématiquement des compliments quand je le porte dans des soirées. Il vaut l'investissement.

Farbe:Ich habe den Petticoat in natur gekauft. Er hat jedoch einen leichten gelblichen Unterton, was ich aber nicht schlimm finde.Größe:Ich bin 170cm groß, habe auch M bestellt und er bedeckt meine Knie. Genau so wollte ich ihn haben.Was die Größe betrifft, gibt es auf der amerikanischen Seite von Amazon mehr Kommentare, für diejenigen, die der englischen Sprache mächtig sind.Bauschkraft:Ich finde diesen Petticoat 835 viel weicher und viel voluminöser als meinen anderen Petticoat 578 von Malco. Er ist so herrlich fluffig!Rüschenkante:Die Rüschen unten können, wenn Kleid oder Rock länger sind, eine Kante bilden. Ich finde es schöner, wenn die Rüschenkante leicht unter dem Saum hervorguckt.Wunderbar fluffig!

It's more expensive but soooo worth it.

Size for waist is perfect,the length is not what I expected,only 17 inches long. But for my height that is actually perfect. Just need to alter my dress now.Quality and material is fab!
