Also known as summer savory, this is the best known and most widely used savory. Milder flavor than winter savory. Add summer savory to braised meats, beans, lentils, venison or rabbit. Season omelets, scrambled eggs, and deviled eggs with finely chopped summer savory. Savory is a robust herb that belongs to the mint family and has a clean piney fragrance and a peppery flavor. Savory can be used to enhance almost any dish and goes especially well with soups, stews, beans, succotash, cabbage and sauerkraut.

This was delicious..but...
LOL! It looks like weed! When I got this out of the mailbox and opened it, I almost dropped it wondering how this got through the mail! I thought the Feds might be lurking nearby! Why yall package this like that?Anyway, it made the vegetarian dressing simply to die for. I would order from this company again...uh, but not packaged like this. lmao!

Pay the extra for Spice Islands
Lots of stems, extremely dry, lacking taste. I couldn't even grind this up with a mortar & pestle

Nice and fragrantly fresh
Much better than the last bunch I bought at Fresh market. Not stemmy at all, crushes nicely, and smells amazing.
