Anti-freeze does not wear out. But the additives in anti-freeze do become depleted over time. This excellent product renews those additives.A year ago this Prestone product was easy to find and buy, albeit under a different Prestone product name, virtually everywhere. This year it's all but impossible to locate this product, except here at Amazon. Instead, all the other suppliers are selling a very similar Prestone product which also includes stop leak. Anybody with sense knows not to add stop leak to a newer automobile cooling system absent any symptoms of leaks. This product has no such drawbacks. You get the critical additives WITHOUT the potentially troublesome stop leak.This product is the one to choose.

I've used this product for many years and I have never had a water pump failure or any cooling system problem. This coolant treatment works but it is getting hard to find.

I have been trying to locate this product ever since they stopped stocking it at my local WallyWorld store.Since anti-freeze.... the glycol part that is, does not actually go bad, we need to replace the rubber life extenders, and the waterpump lube / anti-corrsives in the fluid each year. This does that without wasting the glycol.It has been in my personal vehicles for over 5 years now and have seen no problems since use began.I just bought these two to add to my car and PU truck. I add a bit more each year after the intial application.

First time using this product in two cars so I really do not know if it is working or not. I guess time will tell.

Item arrived as expected. I can't find this in local auto parts store so I'm glad Amazon carries it.
