UPDATED REVIEW: but Responsive AND knowledgeable seller
Updated Review: I just uninstalled this product and threw it away after 3 weeks. I tried everything to get the App to work. It is not user friendly. The system kept turning itself on randomly for different zones each time. Like 4+ hours of wasted water. I uninstalled it and installed the app and I also deleted the times for all the zones and redid it 4 different times. I finally gave up and cut my losses of $90. I bought an Ortbit Bhyve instead and the App seems million times more user friendly. I think this product has a ton of potential, but my version of the app appeared to have bugs and was randomly turning on and costing me a lot of money. I really (really!) liked the seller, they were responsive. So if you want to try it feel free! They were great to work with .Former review: This product was super easy to install. I labeled each wire before detaching it from the previous console. I was confused about the COM screws (see picture); and didn’t end up using them, and it works fine. Maybe some people need and and some do not? The transformer cord was the only disappointing thing about the product, it has wires (see picture) instead of prongs directly into the device that plugs into the wall. In essence the box needs somewhere to lay because of its weight. I’ll probably get a different one later, but it does work—you’ll just need a shelf for it to sit on. The people selling this product are SO responsive! They responded within 12 hours to my programming questions about how to set up each zone. I added a picture of 6:45 and showed how AM and PM are different and then how you’ll just put from 6:45-6:55 and so forth. I was confused about the “for how long” part, but you won’t do that since you’re setting it for specific times for each zone (see the picture of the hand writing for explanation). Skill level: a mom of two under three that did this project during naptime. Literally, the only downside was the pronged power cord. Easy to use and the company was great at sending me a customer specific PDF to answer my questions. I didn’t upload it because I didn’t want to give away proprietary info on accident.

Instructions are awful - Thank goodness it's easy to figure out.
I will update my review once I receive my replacement and test it, but for now, I'll go with reviewing what isn't obviously defective.1. The instructions are horrible and microscopic. I had to actually take a photo of the diagram with my phone and zoom in. Thank goodness it was fairly easy to figure out. It's helpful to take a photo of your existing wiring and perhaps YouTube a few videos to be comfortable with it.2. There is no explanation of how to mount the additional COM piece (it's for grounding, by the way). The wiring diagram also didn't match my existing wiring, so I just left it off.3. The app is pretty straight-forward and it's easy to rename (YAY!) and control different zones with it. The timer doesn't appear to work, but it may be because we got some rain. I'll test again later today when I get home and everything dries up. I was convinced my sensor was dead, but it could be because my old controller just didn't recognize it. I find it ridiculous that in the app, "Timing" is misspelled "Timging." Please fix this. It makes your product look cheap.4. The Alexa functionality is useless...and confusing. You download the Ama Home App to your phone or tablet (setup is straightforward but may take a couple of tries to get it to connect). But the Alexa skill is for SSG Smart Home and connects the device as a switch, so the only thing you can do with Alexa is turn it on or off (meaning ALL on or ALL off). I was hoping I'd be able to control the different zones with Alexa, but no dice until they update their app and skills.5. There is no information on how to reset the device. My device is showing the same date every day. So it's either defective or needs to be reset. I tried removing and re-adding it to the app, but that didn't work. Today, I read in the Q&A at the top that you can try unplugging and re-plugging it back in. I will do that, but I'm still returning it because it was missing the cover for the wiring compartment. My other complaints are just based on the fact that it looks like it was a returned item and is missing parts, so once I get a replacement, I will update my review. I'm willing to look past the lack of Alexa functionality for now, but I think it'd be a good idea to update the skills so we can turn the individual zones on and off.UPDATE 27 Aug. 2018: I tried their reset method (unplugging and plugging back in) but the day/date is still wrong on the device. Also, the timer appears to be working properly. Once I get my replacement, I will update this review.

Would not turn on sprinklers
I unhooked my old controller, hooked this one up, and plugged it in. The display came on fine. It was non intuitive, even for a somebody that has been programming for 30 years. On the display, I manually turned on each of the sprinklers. It said they were on, but no water was coming out.Returned it. Bought Orbit B-Hyve timer from local store for about the same price, that works perfectly.

The device works perfectly. Very satisfied.
I have 2 issues. The instruction manual is very difficult to read. The front is so small I had to use a magnifying glass to read it.Also the manual need more info. I was confused with the weather reading. I mistook it for the day of the week.

Will not work with a 5G WIFI router!
Does not work if you have a 5G router??? Even if you have it setup as a 2.4G/5G. Account setup is also an issue. As of now I do not recommend this product.
