Works with a little patience and perseverance
Seems like a quality product but haven't caught a single skunk with it. I see fresh dig marks each night, so they are still coming into the yard but none have entered the trap. Update - Skunk finally went into the trap, but It was able to get out of the trap door. Door was completely removed from the trap. UPDATE: Finally caught a skunk after a couple of weeks. I live near a woods and I believe I have Raccoons and other critters messing with the trap. I started putting the rear of the trap against a tree so they couldnt reach through the holes in the back door and get to the bait. I also weighed the trap down with logs to keep it from being moved. Added sardines to the bait and caught a skunk finally. Skunk was surprisingly calm in trap, never sprayed.

Great trap!
Great product. Caught a whole family (mom, dad, and three smaller kids). One each night for the first 5 nights of owning the trap. Had to look up on YouTube to figure out how trap door worked. Great product as not a single one sprayed once caught. Easy to clean with a quick spray down on the back lawn with a garden hose. Donuts and cat food working well for the skunks for bait.

Bait door and trap door don’t lock securely
I’ve caught 4 skunks so far but the reason I rate it a 3 is cause two of them got away.. the trap door releases way to easy and bait door doesn’t have a real lock on it... one of the skunks lifted the back door and walked out cause I didn’t realize the tiny piece of metal got pushed in to far the second skunk some how lifted the the trap door openTo fix the bait door I went to Home Depot got a hook and wing nut drilled a hole and used the hook and wing nut to secure the door.... I don’t know how I’m gonna fix the locking parts on the front door.I’ll probably buy a different one and just throw this one away

Trapped Skunk the first night.
Really a nicely made trap. Easy to use and transfer skunks. We are not allowed to shot them or relocate them in our area. We can gas them or drown them. I used carbon Monoxide from car exhaust. Put trap with Skink in large trash bag insert hose from car. When done just release rear gate on trap and dump skunk in bag for the trash. Can't get sprayed or contaminate the area with skunk blood. Easy as could be.

WORTH EVERY PENNY
I thought i only had two skunks. In less than a month I have caught and relocated 7 skunks and I think there is only one more. No smell, no spray and peanut butter does the trick. I have transported them up to 60 miles inside my Cherokee and no smell. GREAT PRODUCT.
