This is my 2nd. The first, after several years, got cracked by being tipped over too many times by varmints. I believe there are instructions to weigh it down, which I did not do. It is sturdy without any additional support, if you don't have raccoons deciding to tip over. I initially replaced with heated saucer & metal stand type, since this was not available. I have since had 2 of those just stop working. This one does keep water warmer than those - which birds in my area really liked. It also doesn't hold as much water. And the birds in my neighborhood love the raised center, so they do much bathing in it. With these 3 things, it does need refilling daily at least, sometimes 2x. But the original one I had - which I hope this is the same in every way - worked great, lasted, looked decent, loved by birds.

This is a very sturdy birdbath that stays put and doesn't wobble. The bowl is designed to turn onto the base without clamps or clips, which makes is very easy to assemble and remove. The top remains strongly attached and doesn't tip if squirrels or raccoons climb up. The bowl is deceptive in the amount of water it takes as the middle has a "hump", but it's fine. Holds a good amount. Very happy with this one!

This is THE BEST heated birdbath on the market in my humble opinion. I had one years ago but it died and to my dismay this one wasn’t available for about 3-4 years. I bought another bother that was a piece of garbage!!!Then I discovered it was available through Amazon again. Yayyyyyy!!! So easy to clean and sturdy enough for Michigan winters. I absolutely LOVE it!!! And with a water wiggler, the mourning doves can find it, too.

Just completed the first winter with this, in northern Massachusetts. Not a super cold winter, but enough cold days to give it a good test. Unit looks nice and is well built, and got lots of use from the birds this winter. Very happy with it.

I have two of these and have had them for many years. They are really durable, easy to clean and work well. I live in an area where it frequently gets below freezing and the heater in this birdbath is easily up to the task. Keeps the water so warm that the morning doves think its their own private hot tub. Definitely recommend this for anyone who likes birds and wants to provide them a drink in cold weather.

What I like best about this bird bath is the material. It’s very easy to clean. The water tends to evaporate, so depending on where you’re at that needs to be topped off every couple of days or so. This isn’t a problem because it’s good to have clean water for the birds. It’s lightweight, yet solid enough to not tip over. There’s a way to add rocks in the base if you are in a windy area.The photo shows how well it's doing at -9 with a -30 windchill. I'd say it's doing as well as can be expected!

Looks good. Easy to put together. The birds haven't discovered it yet, even though it's close to my bird feeder. Sturdiness will be discovered when the squirrels notice it.

Looks good and keeps the water thawed. We've had weather as cold as -12 and so far, it works.

I have only had this a few weeks. When it went on sale I decided to buy it. It comes in two pieces and the top does easily screw off to empty or fill. I made sure it had a level base and it is very secure. You need to buy a two prong cord but other than that it is complete. The surface is easy to clean and I hope it will last.

Love it, it went dry once on a very windy day, still works fine. Make sure you have a good level place set up

Base is way too small. It tips over anytime the squirrels try to take a drink. Hard to keep plugged in and the birds never used it once this winter, it may be too warm for the birds. Not sure.

Just an amazing product. It looks like cement and really dresses up my yard
