Advertised for motorcycles, but excellent for cars
I've been using this for about 9 months now (update: 3 years now and still running good. Update 2: 4 and a half years later, and it died (see bottom)). I picked this up to replace a Rexing V1P cam which was absolutely terrible (random restarts, rear cam dying, frequently stops recording until card is reformatted, etc).I chose this dashcam as one of my biggest obstacles is that I have a convertible, and nearly all of the dash cams out there have you placing the rear camera in the rear window. Obviously with a convertible, that doesn't work, as there is no rear window when the top is down. So having the rear cam mountable outside the car is a huge advantage.Second big feature that sets this unit apart from nearly all others it that the display is separate from the front camera, and does not mount to the windshield. I prefer not to have to see things mounted to my windshield, so I hide them (the camera, toll pass, etc) behind my rear view mirror. This makes them nice and hidden, but on the dash cams that integrate the display and camera into one unit, it becomes a problem when you want to interact with it, as now it's a pain in the neck to get around the rear mirror. So for me, I've got the camera hidden behind my mirror, but the display I keep tucked between my seat and the center divider. This way it's not attached to anything, so it's easily accessible, but out of the way when I don't want it. The display is also nice and compact. About the size of a credit card, and maybe 3/4 inch thick.Video quality is very good. I've actually had this help prove fault in an accident (hit and run), and it clearly captured the license plate of the other vehicle. No issues with motion blur, or clarity. The build quality of the unit is also very nice. The display casing is metal, and very sturdy. The cables are also good quality and well insulated, which for me is good since I had to use 2 extension cables (bought separately) for the rear camera, and 1 extension cable for the front camera. Even with all that extra cable length, I don't see any loss in picture quality. And as mentioned, the rear camera is mounted outside, where it's exposed to the elements (Florida heat & rain), and after 9 months is still working just fine. My old Rexing rear camera died after about 3 months. The only complaints I have are about how it's powered, and there are 2:The first is that I initially tried to use this powered off the provided USB plug. This was intended to be temporary until I got around to disassembling the car and wiring it up to 12v. However this experience had me returning the unit and exchanging it for a new one as I thought it was broken (it wasn't). What was happening was that the display would often flicker, and it would randomly stop recording. The unit is rated at consuming 2.0 amps off USB (if I recall correctly), and I tried multiple different adapters rated well above that, and the problem continued, so I did not think it was a power issue. Hence I returned and exchanged for a new unit. However the new one did the same thing. I decided to give it a shot and see if it would work any better off 12v power, and indeed it did. The screen flickers & recording issues went away. So bottom line, powering off 5v (USB) does not work. The second complaint is its power-on mechanism. When wired into 12v, it powers on by detecting a voltage drop, and then stays on by detecting engine vibration. Then shuts off after 2 minutes of no vibration. This works well enough, except when I want to use it. If the engine is off, or I'm holding it (and engine is on), I have 2 minutes to interact with it. When in my hands, my hands don't vibrate, so it thinks the car is off and wants to shut down. Thankfully where I keep it (wedged against the center divider), is hard plastic, so it conducts the engine vibration well, and the unit does its job of staying on while I'm driving. But I would much rather see an alternate solution where the unit uses the 12v ignition wire (such as for the stereo) as the power-on/off mechanism. But even with both these complaints, I still rate it at 5 stars as the first issue was overcome, the latter is just an annoyance, the device does what it's supposed to do, and is WAY above the competition.Update (4 and half years after purchase/install):So the unit finally died. It initially started resetting every few minutes. As while driving I was constantly hearing the little "chirp" that indicates it's turning on. Then after a month or so of that it stopped turning on at all. Completely dead. Really bad timing too as it died about 1 week before I got into a wreck where the other party tried to get out of accepting liability (fortunately even without the dashcam, I was able to prove it was their fault). Anyway it appears that the power module is the problem, not the camera itself. However apparently I've got an old model and the connectors have changed so I can't get a replacement module. So time for a new dashcam.

Pictures are useless
So far this "dash cam" has worked out great. I like saving the many clips where idiots pull out in front of me. I also like that it records the rear view as well. The video is really not that great, I would have expected a little better, there is definitely no way I'm getting a license plate off of a car while moving. But, at the very least I can get the make, model and color of the vehicle if needed. Quality while sitting still is much better but still not that great.Audio... not really expecting audio to do much but it does record audio, even if all I hear is my engine. I'm sure it would also pick up squealing tires or a horn which might give some indication of who is at fault in an accident.Pictures are useless, I thought maybe it would do better at taking a picture of a license plate since it's a single snapshot but they are compressed so much that they are useless. I think the size of the pictures was like 50-100KB To put that into perspective, your smartphone likely takes photos upwards of 4MB which is, at best 40 times larger. That can't be used as a direct correlation but you can imagine if a file is 40 times smaller, it can't hold much in the way of data so again, pictures are useless. The remote to save videos and take pictures is nice to have right by the handle bars. I'm not a fan of the flashing red light, it's a little distracting at night. I'm sure I can probably just put some electrical tape over it but I'm just giving my opinion on the device as is.The mounts worked perfect for me though, as I saw in a YT video, don't trust the arrows that indicate the TDC of the camera, leave it loose before checking the video because both of mine were off slightly and I had to twist them to get them to a true upright view.I haven't used the app to control the device or look at videos, I've heard it takes forever to transfer, I just take the sd card out. I did use the desktop app which was ridiculously difficult to find but it does show GPS, speed, etc. and pairs the front with the rear side by side nicely but honestly it's very clunky and difficult to use so I wouldn't bother with it unless you actually need that data for an incident or something.Overall, I think this is probably the best device out there at a reasonable price. I think some image stabilization might be helpful with the poor video quality. Overall I'm happy with the purchase though, I know that if someday I'm not capable of avoiding an accident, it will be on video so long as a bug didn't smash into the lens and block the view ha ha (that happens quite a bit actually but I live in a rural area).

So far so good
Just got it today and I'm actually shocked at how easy it was to assemble and get it working and also doing my homework on it I didn't realize that there was another way of getting power to it and that's by USB.Ive seen the hot wire to the battery and I've seen I can plug in from the ciggeret lighter but never seen the USB hookup i pluged it straight into a power bank for power that was cool. Not going to leave it like that tho because I want it to turn on with the bike and start recording so I'm going to go straight to the battery.I do recommend it for now but just got it got to wait a few months to see how it holds up.

Does the job one ordered it to do..
Package came in a timely manner, well packaged. System was easy to install (1983 KZ-440 LTD), the main controller for now is under the seat. The main controller could use some more mounting options as the built in mount is useless in my application. The instructions could use a bit more refining as they are not overly clear. But the product is working well, so far and I am happy with the video being rendered. Would recommend to anyone wanting protection for their trip on video.

Installation
Installing equipment was ok. Easy to get cam wire to front of bike. I put everything in my trunk. I put a usb in the trunk which is more convenient, I don’t need the screen attached to handle bars. I bought the cam for accident purposes. Wifi & Iphone app took some guessing but got it to work. Phone app is only good if you stand beside your bike, easy to see your events thru the phone. GPS I don’t bother with….. over all satisfied with the viewing quality

PC software in description is misleading
They claim that you can use GV Viewer to watch the video. but the GPS portion does not work. After contacting the Vsysto they told me to go buy from a 3rd party as they do not make the software. Why would you show it working and provide links. For the price there is a lot better on the market and with working apps.

Works as described
The cameras are working well.To hide all the wires you will need to remove the seat and fuel tank.I used tie wraps on the cameras to double protect them from coming off the bike.I also made a stainless console to hold the GPS unit as well as the monitor and the incident locking feature unit. The rear camera was placed on another stainless bracket to attach it to.
