Bought this product 2 weeks ago. Installed it last Wednesday. First set up the sensitivity, timer and lux in complete darkness (otherwise you won't be able to do it as the solar panel will start to charge the battery and switches the floodlight off). Installed it in 3m height and it is very sensitive. timer set on 38sec (you have to play with it as it is really sensitive when you make small adjustments). All was fine except it stopped working yesterday (after 6 days). I thought it was the PIR sensor but i checked the battery and solar panel for charge and BINGO! Well it is this time of the year when we have less sunlight and of course the Solar Panel is simply unable to charge the battery up as it gives out only 2.77V in this cloudy weather and the battery itself has 3.7V capacity so of course it won't be able to charge it! But it's England so I guess this wasn't designed for this grim weather. But what's the point having a Solar led light when the Solar panel is not sensitive enough and can't charge the battery properly??? I have another Solar PIR led light above our front door and that one doesn't have problem with the weather and even has smaller solar panel on it! So the solution was I opened up the battery compartment and soldered a 5V 1.5Amp battery charger to the 2 leads where the solar panel is connected to the circuit board so it will regulate the charge what the battery needs. After an hour plugged in it works fine again. To sum it up, it is not flawless and you can buy 2 for the price of this off eBay so why pay 26.99 when it doesn't do the job in grim weather when you really need it to work??

Brilliant product and really easy to install. This light is even brighter than I imagined. I’ve just moved house and I ordered this for my back door as it’s really dark there. I have an outside light that works from in the house but unless someone remembers to put/leave this on then it’s useless. These lights are a much better solution. Solar powered they are always ready to go when it gets dark and cost nothing to run. The motion detector ensures that the light comes on when I need it the most and as I have already mentioned they are brighter than I imagined. I have bought two so the next one will go up tomorrow by the front door too. Really pleased with this product.

I use this outside to light the path to a couple of outside sheds and stores. It was very simple to install with the wood screws provided. Bearing in mind that the location is in northeast Scotland where the sun is very low on the horizon in January and trees tend to screen the solar panel, the brightness of the light is very impressive. One can adjust the sensitivity to trigger the light nearer or further away, it works at well over 30 feet. It must be mentioned that the first unit the seller sent didn’t work but they very promptly sent a replacement for the trivial sum of £0.28p.

Light is not very bright but adequate or purpose. Only 3 fixing screws/plugs supplied for 4 fixing holes. No indication of when the on/off button is on or off - means you have to simulate dark conditions to try it out or wait till it's fitted up and dark and start fiddling about with it at the top of a ladder!

I purchased this after doing some research on quite a lot of different models, basically needed it for a shed at our horse stables where we keep our rugs. With Winter approaching, we needed a bright light inside so we can function in there in the dark early nights.Fitted the solar panel outside, long cable to the indie light, fitted the light, and viola. It is a ten foot square shed that when we open it up is illuminated like daylight. Fantastic for the money. Have had it up for a month now, and the nights have drawn in, works like a dram. So pleased.

eseay to install great product. 6 months has worked well, weakened light at Christmas. just bought new batteries as info said can change batteries. Guess what the one and only battery was rusted compleately. And guess what you cant change it as the Neg and Pos wires were soldered to the top and side of the battery. I need to ask if i can buy a new solar panel only as the Prd light is working ok.

Bought as a Security/welcome light over front door. Robust construction and looks a quality purchase. Easy to assemble and fit. Pleased to have good length of cable for the solar panel(5m) but because the front of our house is North facing I would have preferred an even longer cable so that I could have reached a sunnier spot with the panel. Not sure if it will get sufficient sun during the winter months to maintain battery charge. Time will tell.

I have ordered several of these products before from other manufactures and now I have found one that works. Had initial issues but the help from the owner of the product was outstanding and the many years buying on the internet I have not found a company with such dedication to resolving an issue. Made issue known on Thursday and received a new unit on Monday! Very encouraging for the future of Internet purchases. Well done
