Very comfortable to wear. Excellent for light use.
First the good, The straps and back padding are really nice. The back is built in a way that it keeps the main pouch of the backpack off your back. This kept my back (and me) from overheating as I was getting good airflow up the center of my back. The water bottle pockets are nice and deep and held my 24oz water bottles securely and easily. It's a little awkward trying to get the water bottles out and back in while wearing the pack but wasn't too difficult. The pack material seems strong and sturdy and I expect it to hold up well. The pack was easy to adjust and was very comfortable wearing. This is the first time I've taken a backpack hiking and barely noticed it most of the hike. The bad... The zippers seem weak and will pop apart with a light tug. They self repair easily by zipping and unzipping but they could be a little stronger. The lack of compartments is frustrating. Maybe it's the nature of a pack designed to carry a hydration bladder (which I don't intend to use) but the main pouch area is just one big pocket. I was hoping to be able to separate my gear (first aid, survival, food, etc.) better and have a place for everything and everything in its place but that isn't really possible with this pack.Update - The company contacted me immediately about the zipper quality. They were confident the zippers were defective and sent a new one to replace it. I overstuffed the pockets and pushed, pulled and tugged and could not get a single zipper to fail. Very impressed with the new pack quality and even more impressed by the product support from the company. - After looking at several other backpacks in stores, the single large main pocket seems common for backpacks.

Great quality
An very avid hiker. Have hiked 100's of miles in The Smoky Mountains and this pack has lasted me for a very long time. It's been very durable and would purchase another one again. The downside is that it did not come with the ability to carry a watar bladder so I would have to impervise and just feed it out thru the top of the bag.

So Far So Good
What a great pack this is for the price. When I bought it I went off of the reviews I read on Amazon. I've been happy with my purchase and wouldn't expect anything better for how cheap this was. I use this pack for hiking and bushcraft. I've been able to fit most things inside the pack and the rest I have strapped to the sides of the exterior. Its durable gear that hasn't broken yet. The amount of straps on the outside is very useful. My pack is super heavy but it feels great on my back, especially when I use the waist strap to equalize the amount of weight I'm distributing across my body.

First time plus sized hiker/backpacker
This was my first hiking backpack. I am plus sized and the strap just fit. I felt that the feel was comfortable enough to hike the 5miles I did in my trip. I was able to pack it pretty hefty and I did not see any rips or tears. The seems did look like they had a lot of strain, which is normal when you stuff something to capacity. I LOVE the pockets on the waist strap and the areas where you can connect things to the outside of your pack. If you are just getting in to hiking/backpacking, this is a great starter. The shoulder straps don’t always stay in the right place though. I did have to keep adjusting it, but that could just be user error. The waist strap is adjustable and I did not have mine maxed out. It definitely feels like it won’t last long term, but it’s a great start. And it’s plus size friendly!!

Can't beat it for the price
I've taken this bag all over for hikes. I've taken it around costa rica. I use it in the white mountains for winter and summer hikes and all sorts of stuff. I've even crammed it with enough gear for a solo Mt. Whitney winter mountaineers route ascent. Great bag for what it cost. The hip pockets are super nice for easy access to equipment. The zippers haven't broken, which usually happens on cheap bags, so that's a selling point for this bag. It's also very soft and comfortable to wear. Given that it's only 45L realistically, it struggles sometimes for large gear loads, but overall, fantastic. Would recommend

Good quality product and EXCELLENT Customer Service
I ordered this cool pack after going to several outdoor stores and testing the expensive models. I ordered it for a trip to Machu Picchu and it was really sturdy and lightweight. Loved the added rain cover and the various pockets are super helpful for cell phones, snacks, etc. The backpack held up well, except that the drawstring became frayed and the zippers on belly pouch are not the best quality and would open up on one side. When I got back from my trip, I reached out to the company and they were very responsive. They asked me to send in a picture and sent me a brand new backpack without charge. It took a little back and forth via email, but in the end the company did the right thing and I would buy this product again!

Solid for Backpacking Travelers.
Not the largest option for backpacks, but I still fit 1 week worth of tops/shorts/socks/underwear, a folder, a tablet, a tolietries bag, and 2 pair of shoes in the main space. Traveled 17 days through 4 countries without any durabilty issues, though I feel the wasit strap is a bit clunky. Loved the additional 2 pockets on top of the bag, made great use for my chargers, sunglasses case, souvenier magnets, and headphones. The outer bottom pocket was virtually useless, as everything packed inside the bag removes space and access to that pocket. The middle pocket was great for keeping my passport in and granted quick access when needed. Overall, I have not regrets with this purchase and would recommend it.

Great value
This is a great camping and portaging backpack. Plenty of space with great features and pockets. The emergency whistle is a bit weak but a good back up. The waist buckle pockets are a nice feature for items that you need quick and easy accessibility without taking off your pack such as monocular, knives, etc.The bottom sleeping bag compartment is quite large and can be used for other things if you carry your sleeping bag on the outside. The included rain fly is a great deal. I've never seen it on anything around this price range ($50 CAD when I bought it) and is quite important especially on portaging trips when you're taking your pack off and chucking it on a canoe. The fly will protect your sac.I haven't used it on a long hike or portage yet but will update when I do.

Value for money
This bag arrived within two days thanks to my student prime membership.I needed a new travel backpack for my week getaway to Costa Rica. This bag survived the airplane tosses onto luggage belts and the long dusty and dirty rides on multiple buses throughout Costa Rica. I was scared that it would rip but so far it hasn't. For now, I am satisfied and hope it will last at least for the next 3 years, as my previous backpacks have lasted decades (at a steeper price however).I was expecting the backpack to be made differently however.Cons :The top flap wasn't very flexible which didn't give me much room to pack things. The fabric isn't stretch/woven and quite thin so you do not have extra room. Other 45L bags usually have more flexibility. This one doesn't let you overpack at all. I hope that the fabric will last. The back support is basic and made as a 'one-size-fits-all'. You cannot adjust the hight of where you want the belt to hit nor the top flap. This isn't great for all body/back types. I wished I could modify the waist. (Not sure if I would risk going in the woods for over a week without access to repairing the backpack)Pros :Super light bag. Fair price. It isn't a scam, it's a real working backpack. With a few minor set backs but for fast shipping and price, I think it's a good option for short term getaways. Great for easy urban travelling and checked airplane baggage. All seams and zips were in place, looks like a solid backpack you could buy at Target or Winners for example (not MEC).

For basic single day hiking this is a good starter pack, not for the experienced...
I am the former not the latter so I did seek out MEC (REI in Canada but worse) and other used outdoor forums with little to no avail. With this Covid thing it's pushed everyone outdoors (a good thing), so finding good used quality packs is more difficult than before. So I went over many packs here on AZ and found a few, narrowed them down to this one and placed the order. It's decent for day use, I wouldn't myself do an overnight or a series of them with this pack, it's not built (internal frame absent, proper weight dist on harness is not there), and other items to consider but for a sub-$100 pack, it does check the right boxes for most folks.I've now used this 6- different times, took the standard gear (rain pants, extra socks, water, camp cook set) and a hammock just in case and it was stuffed full, but I showed signs of strain in some of the stitching so I wanted to be sure it would not tear so I did what any sane man would do, load more into it.No tearing thus far, but I am keeping my eyes on this area. My other pack that had in excess of 5 years of hardcore hiking/backpacking by another enthusiast, finally wore out so the cost to fix it was more than this pack and my abilities are not there...yet.So overall, it's considered an entry level pack, good enough for 70% or more of the those just out for a long walk.

Good bag for its price
This bag is a decent bag for its price. For the average traveler, if you are going to go on a trip that is 5 days or less and you DON'T have to have this bag on your back CONSTANTLY, it's pretty good. Understand that this is not a professional hiking bag. I've done 5 days in Germany with this bag, and it did its job! It got me and my stuff from the airport to the hotel to the next hotel to the next airport. I'm sure you can take it hiking, but again, understand that this is NOT a hiking bag, despite its name. You need back support, and probably something better-designed.

Great quality and comfort
I ordered this backpack for my kids. They frequently go camping and hiking with their Pathfinders and Cub Scouts groups and were in need of a comfortable and reliable pack. They have both taken this pack out now and both times they mentioned how great it was. The straps are padded and breathable. The construction of the pack is excellent. High quality materials and hardware. We strapped a bedroll and lightweight sleeping bag to it with no trouble. My son had the misfortune of having to hike in the rain for a few hours and the rain cover worked perfectly. It stores discreetly in a pocket on the bottom of the pack. having the rain cover bright orange is brilliant because its nearly impossible to lose or misplace. I wore the pack for a weekend on a backwoods winter camp and even loaded to the brim with my gear it felt very comfortable and secure. I highly recommend.
