Excellent for maple sap
I use this for making maple syrup, it works easily and rapidly- both in the woods when I've checked sap from the trees, and during the reverse osmosis process. I've used it 2 weeks now, and highly recommend it. Excellent value for the money!

Complete nicely boxed kit
My first time using a refractometer. This came quickly, packaged nicely in padding with easy directions. Used it to test my maple sap within minutes of opening and making the needed adjustment. Came with everything you need to use.

Normal Brix Refractometer but lopped off 10-25 Brix scale
It’s a 0-10% Brix refractometer but half the viewing window is blacked out with the scale a small portion. I compared the height of the scale with my 0-32% refractometer and the scales are the same height at 10% Brix. I was hoping for more resolution at this smaller scale but did not get it. You are better off getting a full 0-32% Brix Refractometer.
