I read some of the other reviews complaining about the color being too white. I assumed people were just used to the intensity of LED colors and that the color from this incandescent would be fine. Nope... those reviewers were right.The bulb looks blue when you open the package, but when you turn it on, it puts out a blue-tinted white light. I am shocked this bulb made it past quality control. I bought it to replace my older blue flood light which has faded over time, but my old faded bulb is many times more blue than this new bulb.

I wanted to use red, white & blue in my yard. The red one held up, but the blue color flaked off in less than a week. What a waste of money!!!

Initial color is a pleasant, rich turquoise prior to burn in, which left seven of the bulbs an icy white.Bulb number eight stopped working before my writing of the this review.

I hate I wasted my time and $ on a blue outdoor floodlight and it's actually just white.. don't buy this one.

First one arrived broken. The second one is not dark blue like the photo.

The blue wore off very quickly.

Unfortunately, this bulb is not very blue. It's certainly bright enough, but there isn't much color to it.
