I bought this for my employee's 13 year old daughter for Christmas. What a nice set with everything you need from pencils and paints to erasers, sharpeners and paper / canvas. It's loaded with great stuff that seems to be high quality. I've seen a lot of "toy" type art kits. This one seems more of a serious artist's set.

It was beautifully packed and the wood box was very nice. I really liked all the extras that came with it and it's definitely worth the money. I bought it as a Christmas gift so I can't really say anything about how any of the colors look when used.
