Everything looks much nicer in the evening when having decorative lights like these illuminating certain features.They have a good build quality and are easy to install.The spikes going into the ground are solid and are easy to attach to the lights by simply tightening a screw.They can be rotated left and right before tightening them up but also up and down so a good angle coverage is assured.They have a three-meter gap between each light so there is lots of cable to play with which allows for the lights to be positioned at various intervals.Some of the pictures in the listing lead you to believe that which is a few of these you can illuminate a whole house however this is not actually the case but you wouldn't want that anyway, you'd want them only bright enough to highlight certain features which these lights do very well.

The original listing for these GLOBELIT garden spike lights had these as 2 watt lights, however, this has since been updated to show 3W.The lights are compact and are IP65 waterproof. They are 3000K warm white giving a nice glow.There is a 5 metre lead in from plug to first light with 3 metres of cable between each of the 4 lights. The plug (which is not waterproof) is rather deep so this needs to be taken into consideration if you intend running this from an outdoor weatherproof electrics box with limited space and existing connections.They can be used with the supplied ground spikes, however, I intend attaching these to the wood of a garden canopy as my ground planting limits positioning.At the time of ordering, these were priced at £39.99 which was rather expensive - this has since reduced to £29.99 which is more competitively priced.

Of late i have avoided electric lights in the garden as i find solar power lights far superior. This however worked on a front facing border that has the switch for movers nearby. The lights are easy to install and quite tough however they are not going to trouble Chief ARP Warden Hodges in the bightness stakes. Discreete is possibly the best description. One worry however is as a another reviewer noted the plug on these gets rather hot. Not a good sign.
