Professional Temporary Hair Mascara Hair Color Stick Salon Diy Hair Dye(Blue)

My 9-year old son wanted to dye his hair blue, so we compromised and tried this instead. Not having used hair chalk or actual dye before, I don't have much to compare it to, but it seemed to work pretty well. It's like putting mascara on your hair. Went on easy and the color stayed on for two days until he washed his hair -- and after one shampoo there was only one spot that still had a slight blue tinge to it; otherwise, it all washed out. It dries quickly (and I used a blow dryer afterwards, just in case), and didn't seem to rub off on the couch or his pillow. The fine-toothed comb was nice, too, because it made his hair look nice and soft (not all clumped together like we'd painted it with something). I got a bunch all over my hand when I was applying it, but it washed off easily in the sink.

I loved it for what I used it for it is actually probably a 4 star in regards to me specifically or anyone wanting to touch up faded professionally dyed bright colored bangs or highlights. The first photo is me with the dulled faded died hair from the salon (this was after 3 months) and the second is after I used two of the hair mascaras (the blue and green combo). It worked great with already died faded hair and probably would work for fun little color on blond, straw blondes, or those with really light brown hair.Now I tried it on my darker auburn part of the hair and the color isn't as vibrant. This wear the only 3 stars come up because I know those with long dark hair might be disappointed. However, with that said it actually gave it some iridescent shine with the touch of that color I applied with the red. Sadly the photos don't show it well. So if you don't mind just a kiss of color instead of a bright streak it might be fun to play with.So for me it was probably a 4 star rating but if you want it a saturated color on dark hair or all over hair color this might not be for you.

I love these colors! I don't put them in my hair all the time, but I think it's fun. And I'm 70 years old! 😊 This is a great product!

The Hair Dyeing Mascara was attractively packaged. The individual color wands have a mascara brush at one end and tucked into the wand on the other end are two other ways to apply (with a thinner mascara brush and a comb (that can be used to spread the dye, I guess). The colors are bright and match the pictures on Amazon.My only "complaint" is that, with dark hair, the pink "dye" does not show up. Almost not at all. I wanted the hair color for Breast Cancer Awareness Day at school. I had that problem with the color hair spray, too, which was why I decided to try this product.I guess I wish that there had been comments to this effect or even a manufacturer's indication not to buy the product for very dark hair.

I bought this because these are my daughters three favorite colors and she wanted summer hair. You put it on like mascara, so if you can imagine mascara-ing someone's entire head of hair, you can see why that would take a while. And unless you or your child have really short hair, there won't be enough any any given tube or maybe all three to do a whole head. We did the bottom three inches of my daughter's hair and ran out of blue before I was done. So, not a lot in there, but fun and the colors are vibrant once they're on. Not as messy as chalk.

I bought a pack of three colors: pink, blue, and purple. I have dark hair that’s getting gray, so I thought I’d play with turning my gray a fun color. It is applied the same way mascaras are applied. The wand has two ends so you can use a standard mascara brush end, or a comb/straight brush end. It goes on pretty gloppy and is very sticky and heavy to the touch. When I tried the comb applicator, the end kept falling off. I had to put a LOT on in order for the color to show up. I could not style my hair afterwards, as it was sticky and heavy, so I pulled it up into a pony tail so people could at least see the color along the edges by my face. A couple of hours later a friend came over and I asked what she thought of my hair color. She said “what color?”. I looked in the mirror and 90% of the color was gone! Complete waste of money!

I love playing with these hair colors. Blue is my favorite. My grandkids think their Nannee is awesome. ! Washes out & reapply. love it.

Bought this product in white to use to color eyebrows for a Santa costume. Just realizing now that the title says "white" and other info says, "silver". No wonder it didnt look white! It may work just be careful what color you order. Used two coats before giving up. It made them sort of shiny silver, not white and you could still see the light brown underneath. Not sure if many, many coats would have worked, but just not worth the effort. Disappointed due to what we needed it for, but it may work for other costumes.
