My daughter absolutely adores it. we both. The story is sweet, simple, and easy to follow. The colorful illustrations are engaging and fun. The book's rhyming text makes it a pleasure to read aloud, and we read it every day. Highly recommend for toddlers and preschoolers.

Everyday my kid asks why quokka didn't smile? And then we read the book again.It's a simple written, easy to understand book for kids. Pictures printed are also big and colourful, helping the kids to imagine.Author has done a thorough work in capturing the attention of kids through the book.

My 3 year old is in love with the sad Quokka who discovered his laugh by seeing the world. The characters are life like and the story is heartwarming, the designs are lovely!

I have read this book for the 20th time since we bought it, and every time it brings joy to my daughters' faces. From the first page, where all the Australian animals and birds are introduced, to the last page filled with engaging activities, this book is a gem. In fact, I believe that as adults, we can also learn valuable lessons from this book—like how a sad quokka found happiness with whatever and whoever he had around.With my 8 year old enjoying poems, this book comes as a refreshing change with beautifully rhyming stanzas.

Highly recommended for kids aged 3 and above. Fun and engaging story with beautiful illustratio ns. It's my granddaughters favourite bedtime story.

The way book takes you to the wonderful land of interesting animals and help the kid to explore the unknown world is the USP of the book.
