My favorite portable monitor (so far)
Absolutely love this thing. Works with any MPP pen so I use the surface pen. It also works with both pen and touch for Mac which is kind of crazy, but the main caveat here is that it’s just treating the touch or pen as a pointer, so if you are using the pen but the cursor is on a different screen, you will see the pen move the cursor on that other monitor for example (so you have to have the cursor on the magedok monitor for that).Other things i super like:1. It’s crazy bright2. Beautiful visuals overall3. Full size hdmi4. For what they are, speakers are serviceableThings that could be better:1. HDR looks oversaturated by default2. 60hz max, would love to see 120, especially at this price3. The uneven back makes it harder to come up with a sevicable low angle stand for drawing/writing (the built in stand goes down to maybe 45 degrees, which is a bit high for writing for me)

Great monitors!
I did a lot of research of into various brands of portable touch monitors and decided to go with Magedock. Why? I think their overall design and implementation looked better than other brands (thinner and sleeker) and they seemed to have better touch oriented options that other brands that I reviewed.I bought two of their monitors, this one (15.6 4K OLED Touch) and a 18.4 4K Touch. I choose the matte display versions for both. The 18.4 I am using in our recording studio as a talent monitor in the recording booth running via Thunderbolt. What is awesome about this setup is that with the touchscreen the talent can control the DAW all by themselves (re-arming takes, etc.). The OLED touch monitor we use in our media studio for testing out web and mobile apps that we develop, so when we code mobile/tablet versions of website we can actually touch interact with them in real-time. It's been a game changer! I will order more products from them in the future.

Great for gaming
I have been using this as a screen for my PS5 pro and it works great. The OLED screen is worth the extra cost.

Beautiful OLED panel!
Got this because it's OLED and they tend to have the best contrast and color among monitors. This is a great monitor, HDR content looks fantastic, colors are bright and well saturated, contrast is absolutely fantastic!Currently using this with a mini-PC in my home office, everything is working well with Windows 11. 4k at this size is kind of overkill; however, this does allow for a fantastic movie watching experience as HDR content will look stunning. For productivity, this monitor is geared toward more creative workloads as it's completely unnecessary for office workloads, i.e. working in Microsoft Excel or Word does not require HDR or 4k at this size. For gaming, this is a fantastic picture but there are two issues, one would be the refresh rate and the other is resolution. You need a pretty powerful system to run graphically demanding games at 4k, my mini-PC struggles with many titles at 1080p though my desktop can run some games at 4k. The problem I'm experiencing is this monitor has by far the best picture out of my monitors, but it's small and 60Hz vs my 27 inch, 165Hz monitor. It's a huge tradeoff when using this for the fantastic image quality.Build quality is pretty good, it has an aluminum frame but plastic back, though it does feel like quality plastic and does not flex a lot. The stand works well though it's a bit stiff and on the more difficult to open side. The monitor includes everything you need to run it, including a power brick. The included case is alright, kind of seems like a generic laptop sleeve but it's an extra that not all portable monitors include.Would I recommend this? Yes and no. OLED is steadily becoming more affordable and at the current price for this monitor it's steep. Having said that, it's hard to argue with the picture quality on this monitor, it looks just as good as my Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. If you want a fantastic picture on a portable monitor this is an easy recommend though you can find more affordable options.

Portable secondary monitor -can be connected to phone too
The Magedok Portable Monitor OLED 4K has been an absolute game-changer for both my work and entertainment needs. The 15.6-inch touchscreen display is stunningly sharp and vibrant, with its UHD resolution and 100% DCI-P3 color accuracy making everything look incredibly lifelike. The anti-glare screen and 1ms response time are perfect for gaming and working on the go.I was particularly excited about the MPP stylus pen compatibility. Although it doesn’t come with a stylus, they offer one for free online - but that link is broken so I could not test it out. The built-in stand is sturdy and convenient, making it easy to set up anywhere. The HDR and eye care features are great for long sessions, reducing eye strain significantly.Unboxing was a delight—it comes with an HDMI cable, two USB cables, a power adapter, and a sleek blue case. I connected it to my 3090 GPU using a DP to mini DP cable (not included), and it worked flawlessly. Gaming, especially playing World of Tanks, looked phenomenal, and streaming videos was a treat with its rich colors and clarity. The monitor stays cool, with just the lower right corner getting a bit warm, but nothing concerning. The main reason I got this monitor was for digital art and as a secondary screen for my laptop. It excels in both areas. The touchscreen is responsive, and the text quality is excellent at 60Hz 4K. Although it’s a bit pricey, it’s justified given the OLED quality and versatility. It can do 4K but everything becomes unreadably small at that size. Watching videos in 4K is nice though!Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase. If you need a high-quality portable monitor for work, art, gaming, or just general use, I highly recommend the Magedok Portable Monitor OLED 4K. It’s worth every penny!
