This is the second Kitty Neale book I have read and I must say I did enjoy it. They have a habit of pulling you in straight away so that you cant put the book down. My third book is already on order.Like the other book though I was a bit disappointed with the ending as I felt it was quite abrupt and a bit rushed.There was one major problem with this book though and that was the amount of mistakes and typing errors. Whoever the proof reader was didnt do a very good job. This often annoyed me and through me off.

I really enjoyed this book, I am always amazed when I read about the lives of these people, we are so much better off!! Shames so many people don't realize.Once I started to read this book, I had enjoyed it so much I went onto read another 6 in quick succession, reading until the early hours. This book was not as good as books normally are ,was very disappointed

I thought it a bit slow to start with and the end was a little predictable, but all in all a good read.

Very good book. This little girl is so strong. She survived so much and then has to listen to her own Grandfather cut her down and say hateful things about her and her Mum . He did not know it was her but that had to hurt. She was able to keep her secret . I think some of that family had to have seen she looked like them. They just wanted money.

I love kitty Neale’s books... got 5 of them ... page turner...

I love her books I have read quite a few and can never put them down until I am finish.

Awesomen read

Yes it was heart wrenching but beautiful. The story of an innocent child made to pay for the mistakes of others. This could have been a true story and there are children who are made to suffer like this. I could not work out the plot and never expected it the story to end the way it did. Saying that, it was a happy ending and not a sad one. One of hope that was uplifting and encouraging. You have to read this story, I truly loved it. Well written and cleverly planned.
