Thermi Protective Silicone Sleeve for Hydro Flask Water Bottles

My family of 8 each have a hydroflask or similar 18/8 stainless steel with powder coat finish, water bottle. So far, we had purchased just the Onoola silicone sleeve, but this time I purchased this one. The Onoola is thicker, but not that much as to make a difference. This sleeve is a little taller, which is good if you go with another brand bottle than hydroflask. The S|M bottle is taller in a 40 ounce than hydroflask is, making this sleeve, come up a little higher, which is good because we have gotten dents on ours at the top. The Klear bottle, is a little shorter and bigger around, and this sleeve also fits it well. The Onoola has squares cut out of the sleeve and this one has circles, and I really like the way it looks with the bottle color showing through. Very nice product, and cheaper, which I like, if I don't have to sacrifice quality! The first bottle is a 40 ounce Klear, with the Thermi sleeve, the 2nd bottle is a 40 ounce hydroflask with an Onoola sleeve, the 3rd bottle is a 40 ounce S|M bottle with the Thermi sleeve.

Ordered two 40 ounce size for our flasks: one black and one "translucent gray." They fit well and go on snugly if you follow the directions. BUT.... the "translucent gray" is really NOT a good color at all IMO and I can't imagine it looking good over any color flask. It's the color of dirty dish water and not really very translucent at all - just enough to make any color underneath look, well....yucky. I'm going to keep the black one because I do think it offers good protection. But AGAIN, the downside is that It sort of acts like a magnet for dust or any fuzz or mystery gritty stuff it happens to come into contact with. So if you don't wipe it down a lot, it feels kind of creepy. Maybe it will "wear in" and stop doing this. Someone told me to wipe it down with a baby wipe or make-up removal wipe and it would solve this issue. Tried it and it did help.

I had a ding on my 32oz Hydroflask and wanted this to cover it up. I got this a few days ago and there was a very small tear on the seam and didn't think much about it until I tried to take it off to wash.. This thing does not come off easily and it ripped on me!!... wth!! Now I have a dinged flask and a broken silicone sleeve :/

i got this for my ONEISALL large glass water bottle ( https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07DK56HWV/ ), since it only came with a nylon sleeve which doesn't do anything except to carry the bottle around more easily. i, like many others, wanted a silicon sleeve as it gives it a little bit more protection from nicks, scratches and a little fall. obviously, this will not protect from a deep fall. so i measured circumference and height then looked for a silicon sleeve. the sleeve for the hydro flask, looks more popular, came close, about .06 mm bigger. i took the chance and bought this one because it looks like it covers more, the competitors had lots more or bigger holes than i wanted. the rating also helped a little. the sleeve for the 32 oz hydro flask, i think, would have been too low at around 7.5 inches. the one for the 40 oz hydro flask at 9 inches was just right, in my opinion. it's not snug but its fine as it would have been a pain to put on, it doesn't seem to slide off easily, however. there is that little bubble at the top but it doesn't bother me. enjoy!!!

This silicon sleeve solved my issue with my slippery Hydro Flask. The bottom of the sleeve is thicker than the sides so it should give a better protection from drops. It certainly would prevent dents and nicks. I have quite a number of Stainless water bottles and I have dropped some of them before. Even with protection sleeves, a filled bottle when dropped will most likely be dented. I have not dropped a bottle when it was empty so I cannot tell for sure if an empty one would survive a drop.I have an 18 oz Hydro Flask and there are not much sleeve choices in this size. This Thermi Silicone Sleeve fits my bottle perfectly. It took a little effort to roll the sleeve on but once on, it looks good and feels good. I am happy with this purchase.

I'm kind of clumsy and liked the idea of protecting my $56 sanitizing bottle against dents. This sleeve fits the bottle well, but it was still a frustrating struggle for my arthritic hands to slide it onto the bottle, even following the helpful tips. I dread the process of degloving it from the bottle, when it comes time for cleaning...and then replacing it again. It is a helpful cushioning layer of protection, and gave me a more secure grip on my bottle.

I owned this sleeve for about 20 months. The first year was great. No issues at all. Follow the instructions provided and the sleeve is easy to put on and take of as needed. However, about 2 months ago I noticed the sleeve was starting to slide down my Hydroflask. Well how many times did I take it off and put it back on? 3 times. The sleeve material is just your standard rubber silicon eventually heat and oxidation will cause the rubber silicon to expand. The sleeve sliding down my hydroflask got progressively worse as time went by. Keep in mind I live in Arizona and visit Florida often (hotter climates). I'm pretty sure that those of you buying this that live in northern climates will not have this issue. However, anyone living in the southern climates this sleeve will eventually fail on you. No surprise, it failed on me at the end of my second summer with it. Its now so bad the sleeve will not stay on and slides off everytime as I am walking with it.

I bought this sleeve to put on my 40 Oz Takeya water bottle also bought here on Amazon to help with grip and insulation. I purchased the marbled (glows green at night) 40 Oz sleeve and it fit my bottle PERFECTLY! Adds grip, and looks pretty cool at night on my nightstand tooThe sleeve covers almost all of the bottle too. Not just the bottom. Perfect fit in my opinion. It was a bit of a challenge to put on the bottle but like the suggestions I read. I rolled the sleeve down like a wetsuit almost inside out and wedged the bottom in first and then just rolled it up onto the bottle an inch at a time.I highly recommend this sleeve. I love the way it complemented my water bottle purchase in looks and in usability.
