This is a very solid, attractive bench. It arrived on time and was packed well to avoid damage. My only two concerns that make me not give it 5 stars are that (i) the backrest is more vertical that it appears to be in the picture (making me sit up straight . . . .) and an optional part of putting the bench together is to use brown Gorilla glue in certain places - but the little bottle that apparently is the brown Gorilla glue that comes with the bench isn't labeled and it isn't clear in the instructions that that is what it is. So I assembled it without the glue - and it is perfectly tight anyway.

Beautiful and high quality teak. Was very easy to assemble and well packed for delivery. We love it.

It arrived yesterday and I assembled it today. It’s packaged securely, with cushioning, and was undamaged. It’s easy enough to assemble - it arrives in four pieces that fit together well, using dowels to hold the pieces together. They also include Gorilla wood glue, but the small bottle they sent me was mostly dried up. Luckily, I had some on hand, so I used it at the joints where wood pieces adjoin. After getting all of the wooden dowels tapped in, I used a saw to carefully cut off the ends of the dowels that protrude from the holes. Then, I used an electric hand sander to smooth over the dowels and make them flush and smooth.It came out very nice. The wood is of good quality - smooth without any major blemishes. The bench itself is solidly made and very sturdy.As another reviewer mentioned, the back is almost nearly vertical - the bench would be more comfortable if it angled back a bit more. Not too big a deal though, and I may look into adding a cushion to the back rest during summer months.Overall, I am happy with the purchase and think it will last for years to come. Will update this review to share how it stands the test of time and the Pacific NW elements.

The teak itself is good quality. However, a first year high school wood shop student could make better work of the joinery. It took a lot of work to get the joints to fit and there are a few that never did. I have a fair amount of wood working tools and experience and All the clamping and fitting was to no avail. Also found the supplied dowels to be the wrong size and of poor quality wood. I used some of my own, and used my own wood glue as well. That said, the final product is sturdy and when I applied the Teak oil the bench looked good overall. Now to find some cushions.

The teak benches look great once assembled! However, they are very difficult to put together. Delivery is also an issue. It took about three different phone calls to get our company's schedule to align with their delivery schedule.
