The eggs dont stay together. The tops will sit on the bottoms but they don't attach. So, they don't look like eggs, just loose pieces. for that, I would only degrade rating to a 3 or 4 star but the biggest problem is, the colors are not vibrant and do not easily mark the page. They are mostly for show. With those two issues, the product only gets a 2 star rating.

They are basically indestructible but the pieces don’t stay together so my daughter doesn’t realize they are supposed to be egg crayons, which are currently her two most favorite things in her two-year old life.

These are bright crayons, but they split in two and are hard for my 1.5 year old and 3.5 year old to use. My older child could not get a good grip on them, so they’re useless as crayons. We use them to stack and sort colors.
