Wolf-GartenURM3 Multi-Change Roller Moss Removal Rake Lawn Care Tool Head, Red, 60.5x15.67x6.5 cm

First off, this is not for a big lawn. Mine is 50m2 and i would not really recommend for anyone with a bigger lawn as the work required to complete properly would warrant upgrading to an electric unit in my eyes. That being said, the results from this are brilliant and does a great job at ripping up the moss and thatch without making the lawn look horrendous as is the case with some electric units. I did mine twice with this unit and then over-seeded and in two weeks looked like new. Worth the money for smaller lawns or if feeling particularly energetic!

This is a really tough little tool, a bit like a garden Tonka toy. I guess it should last for a long time.It's certanly effective at ripping out moss, and I think less damaging to the grass than my previous electric scarifier.It isn't exactly back breaking work, but it takes a fair effort. The rollers probably help by limiting the depth to which the blades can dig in.I agree with those who have said the "angle of attack" isn't quite right. To get the blades to dig in correctly the handle has to be held at a fairly low angle, which isn't ideal for the back. To resolve this, use it with the Wolf extendable handle I use for lopping branches. The longer handle means that I can stand more upright with the handle still being at the optimum angle.I think Wolf could have included an angle adjustment - after all, we're not all the same height. Also, it would be nice if they could quieten the incessant "click-clack" when using it. Otherwise, a good value tool that does the job.

Was really looking forward to trying this out having been aware of the increasing moss for a few years. Really can’t explain what its brought up, the pictures don’t do it justice. One small .5 square metre section lifted so much. I did two passes in differing directions and could probably have got more going again but by then the grass was thinning. To do this area which is about 15by3 metres it took Over an hour which i thought was reasonable. The rake really grips into the thatch and with a few pulls through it becomes easier then you move into the next section. The wheels are a god send to save digging too far in the soil and ease of back/ forth. I bought the 140cm aluminium pole which is very sturdy (as is the rake) but I do understand what people mean about needing longer to get down nearer ground for best effect without doing your back in.I have a far larger lawn that is in worse condition the other side of the path, I can’t wait to try this on it and then see results from overseeding. Although that’ll be tomorrow’s task as my back is sore from the labour!!All in all quality product and very pleased with my first Wolf Garten products.

Very pleased, does the job really well.Good design, well made. Needs a bit of elbow grease to operate, and more difficult on slopes.Overall, a really good addition to our garden equipment.

This is a really effective tool for lifting moss from the lawn and as it is hand operated it is easy to do the job gradually, in stages. It is well made and easy to operate. I bought the longer handle for it and it seems to be right for me - I am about 5ft 5 in height. Very pleased with this useful tool and cheaper than buying a large electric scarifier. You also get a workout using it!

I purchased this item to tackle lawn thatch. Is that one of it's functions? I probably need to use this rake a lot more to give it a proper evaluation, but from the evidence thus far I cannot recommend it.I am comparing the Wolf's performance to my old tine rake. The tine removed considerable thatch, but was a totally exhausting process. I purchased the Wolf primarily because of its wheeled arrangement, thinking it must take some of the strain out of the job. It still takes some effort, but the wheels did seem to make it easier.The tine has many more teeth than the Wolf rake, which I feel must also account for the greater volume of thatch it removed. The Wolf rake's more aggressive teeth may be a useful factor, gets deeper, but I noticed that the thatch it removed had more green grass in it - not what I was aiming for. In comparison, the tine raking produced almost no green grass content.Overall, the Wolf is an easier rake to use than my tine rake, but the results did not warrant its purchase (and a £20 Wolf handle, if like me, you didn't have one).

its best with the wheels on instead of the cheaper hand held Rake type as it gives a uniform depth to the cut. I undone the four bolts, and altered my one and put the Silver Angle Brackets on top of the Red Cross Bar , so you need a less flatter angle with a bent back trying to make it work, as many tall people complain about? it also scarifys the soil ready for Re Grass Seeding? WARNING, "Thease Blades are " SHARP LIKE RAZOR BLADES" so cleaning them out with a BAMBOO CANE or Piece of STICK, alternatively a blast from the Hoze Pipe, is recommended.You can use it on your Vedge garden (Loose Soil) to Cultivate a Fine Tilth and De stone a Strip to set a Row of Seeds, it you want to cultivate deeper unbolt the 4 silver bolts, and turn it over to the other side of the Silver Angle Iron Brackets, this will give you nearly 1 1/2 inch Maximum Depth for cultivating your Loose, Vedge Garden Soil.

Wish I had bought this years ago. Simple to use and amazingly effective. Highly recommended. I find it easiest to only rake in small pulls of about 1 ft at a time. Any longer a pull is not as effective and much harder. You still get a good workout with the smaller pulls. Can’t believe how easy it was to get so much moss out of this small area as shown in the photo. It may be rather expensive but very well worth it and you shouldn’t hesitate to get one. Enjoy. 👨🏻👍🏻🏡

Vor dem Kauf hatte ich meine Zweifel ob er wirklich funktionieren wird, jedoch klappt es super! Ohne große Anstrengung macht es genau das was es soll! Ich bin sehr zufrieden

Lavora egregiamente con il minimo della fatica. E' pratico, leggero, una meraviglia. Se si vuole mantenere un bel prato non si può farne a meno, né, secondo noi, pensare di sostituirlo efficacemente con prodotti di altre marche (l'abbiamo fatto non trovandolo, poi l'abbiamo finalmente trovato su Amazon). Sicuramente una delle migliori marche per il giardino, conosciuta in Germania, dove abbiamo abitato qualche anno.

Qualität super und und für Zweck der Rasenpflege bestens geeignet. Nebeneffekt kostenlose Fitnessstunde. Habe meinen Rasen erst mit einem E-Vertikutierer bearbeitet eine komplette graue Mülltonne mit Moos, aber Rasen wuchs nicht trotz Einsäen und düngen. Den Wolf gekauft und siehe da fast nochmal dieselbe Menge an Unkraut aus der Rasenfläche geholt. Preis Leistung in Ordnung. 👍👍👍👍

Prodotto eccellente, fatto molto bene. Se vogliamo forse un po caro il prezzo, ma la qualità è ottima e vi ripagherà.Il pacco arriva senza manico! Acquistatelo a parte!Questo attrezzo va bene per un giardino massimo di 100m2, oltre diventa un lavoro molto ma molto faticoso. In ogni caso alzate le maniche perché è una buona palestra. Il risultato finale vi ripagherà la fatica. Il feltro e tutte le sostanze che avete sul fondo del manto erboso verranno tolte e avrete un prato in ottime condizioni!

Aufgrund unseres Mähroboters haben wir uns bewusst für dieses Handgerät entschieden, da wir hier auch den Rand und im Bereich des Suchkabels vertikutieren können ohne die Kabel komplett zu entfernen oder zu beschädigen. Das Ergebnis ist wirklich top und es ist deutlich einfacher als gedacht!
