Superior replacement for old rusty brake lines.
I used this kit to replace rusty, leaking original brake lines on the rear end if my 2001 Toyota Tacoma. The nickel copper alloy is far superior in every way to the older steel versions still sold by auto parts suppliers. This product bends easier, is less prone to bend crimps, cuts easier, does not rust and best of all, it is easier to get a good sealing double flare than the harder steel type lines. It even straightens out easily. It’s nice that they include flare nuts, however they did not fit my truck. I would recommend that the seller offer this brake line in a kit with metric flare nuts as an option. Overall a great value and price for the amount of brake line you get for the money.

Copper Alloy Brake Line, 3/16", very easy to work with
I used this brake line on a 2005 Toyota that I was doing some restoration on. For previous such work in past years, I had always used steel, but saw this newer alloy listed on Amazon, and decided to give it a try. Even though I own the tools to properly bend brake lines (e.g. steel), the use of such tools was not necessary with this copper alloy. This is unbelievably easy to work with, and I just bent all curves by hand with no tools needed. And, since I live in NE Ohio (Cleveland area), brake lines live in a very harsh environment with all the winter slush, snow, sleet and, worst of all, road salt, I will not now need to worry about degradation due to corrosion. Also, since copper is a softer material than steel, I suspect that the sealing that is occurring within the fittings is happening with less force than that which is required with steel. In past steel brake line usage, it seemed that most every job had some sort of leaking whereby the fittings needed to be retightened. I was often worried that I'd tighten too much, based on strength limitations of the fittings, possibly having the threads stripped out. Fittings on this most recent copper job were all moderately tightened by hand, and I haven't seen any leaks occurring yet. Will definitely use this again in any future brake jobs. And, when the vendors package the product with fittings, it makes it easier for "one-stop-shopping", since you're generally always going to need some new fittings (just have to know what type and size of fittings are used ; mine used a double-inverted flare, 10mm diameter x 1.0mm pitch, since I was working on a japanese vehicle) Price is reasonable, and installation is so much easier than steel!

Perfect! Exactly what I needed.
I couldn't find a clutch hard line anywhere for my 2004 Nissan Xterra. The M10x1.0 fittings were exactly what I needed, and this brake line is easy to work with. I used an OEMTOOLS tube bender and a Titan double flaring tool to make my own hard line in minutes. Get the bends close, then make final adjustments by hand with this relatively soft brake line. My Xterra is back on the road again, and I've got plenty of line left over if I ever need to make another repair to the clutch or brake lines.

Walls too weak for Eastwood flaring tool.
I’ve used Cunifer lines before, which are supposed to be the same alloy, but this must be weaker or thinner walled, or both. It would simply crush in the wrong places when used with the great Eastwood flaring tool. I tried 10 times with the same results, and the Fedhill cunifer line worked every time. Maybe it works with a different tool? I saw other reviewers mention the same, but saw all the positive reviews so thought id give it a go. I’m just going to spend the extra for the good stuff, brakes are not a place to skimp!

Its real
While I have not installed this product yet it is as advertised copper/nickel product. I made one test flare and it works fine, quick delivery and good price. Will use again as needed.

Strong corrosion resistant brake line
This can be bent and straightened by hand but with a tube straightener and a bender this is great stock to get the brake tubing done. In high rock areas wrap it in a guard.
